My characters are always open to patients, so just let me know if you want one of your patients to start seeing one of my doctors.

Cool! I think seeing both doctors is a pretty good option for her. I'm not sure if one would be better than the other.

You can always switch therapists too if you try one out and they're not the best fit.
Hmm... I don't know Crabby's therapists as well, so I'm not sure which of them to recommend. She should be on this thread in a sec.

For Brion, out of my people, Hayley is pretty good with kids, and I could see Marshall and him maybe getting on. I think Callahan is a bit too serious for him, and I think Sabine does a little better with older people since she tends to blab a lot of random, intellectual nonsense that young kids might not understand. But that’s just my recommendation; obviously you know him much better than me.

@Crabby, I'm thinking maybe Marshall since I kind of picture Brion getting along better with a male therapist. Since he's around mainly males and looks up to them more. :)
Now I just need to figure out a good therapist for my last character that I just posted. Thinking Hayley, just don't want to overburden her with patients. XD
I think Marsh is probably the best choice for Brion out of my therapists then. As for Lienna, I can see her and Hayley getting on. I don’t think she’ll be overburdened - she loves her job and I love rping with her since she keeps everyone in line lol, so it’s no problem.

Well, sessions are one on one; we just create more offices for therapists who have more than one active patient. Hayley is good at going step by step, I think, so she should be able to get some amount of information out of them. Hopefully as they warm up to each other, they’ll be able to share more.

I've been debating. I know it's Snail's character but I'm trying to decide if I should have Sovay see Hayley or Mary Thatcher, since the character does have some powers. I'm trying to limit her to just two therapists, keeping Rowan Darkwoode. What do you think? Who might be able to help her most? Since I consider her the most challenging out of the four characters I have.
On the basis of magic alone, Mairead would better be able to help her since she is experienced in helping others control their gifts. She might even be able to help Sovay in developing hers. Rowan can help with this too, but Mairead might be somewhat more effective in that regard.
In terms of general approach, Mairead tends to play the long game with most patients, which would probably be a good method for Sovay in terms of breaking her out of her shell. There wouldn't be any big shocks or surprises, and Mary would start her off with small things and then work up to something a bit more challenging.
Personally, I think Mairead would be a better fit because she has a gentler nature. Hayley is a good therapist in her own right, but she does tend to give people reality checks at times that may push Sovay further into her shell given how sensitive she is.

Okay! We usually try to match doctors with patients by the therapist’s specialty (if any), and by which of their personalities would fit best for the patient. Has your character been finished yet?
Well, here’s pretty much the place. Sorry I’m a bit slow, I’m doing a lot of multi-tasking right now.
The best place to start is by briefly reading through the therapists on the Finished Therapists and Psychiatrists page. If there’s one you think your character will particularly get along with, that’s always a good option. If you’re still unsure after that, once you finish your character Snail or I can read it over and recommend one we think will best fit him or her.

I'm good with that!
Sorry for going MIA, everyone. I've been working long hours all weekend and just have been utterly exhausted by the time I get home to my computer. I'll be on tonight for a while longer, and I'll be on the rest of this week too.
