Lynn Hallbrooks (lynnhallbrooks) | 31 comments I recall at one point that new books would come over from Amazon. If that is still true how long does it usually take?

If not, do I manually insert it or do I request a librarian to do so?

I haven't had to do one in a while and I've seen that things have changed up so just trying to clarify what the current procedure/policy is.

Book records are still imported from Amazon. However, the time that takes is dependent on a number of factors, and therefore highly variable.

It is fine to manually add a new book instead (or ask for a librarian to do so, supplying all the necessary information), although I suggest searching by ISBN or ASIN first to be sure it's not here already.

Lynn Hallbrooks (lynnhallbrooks) | 31 comments Thank you. I did check for it by ISBN. I'll check back later and see if it has gone through. If not then I'll let you know.
