Hannah | 13 comments "I can only imagine what they were saying about me. Actually, I prefer not to even try to imagine it." Auggie says this on page 61 in paragraph 3. I chose this quote because it shows how Auggie is feeling about his new school and how difficult his time is.
"Why do I have to be so ugly, Mommy." Auggie says this on page 60 in paragraph 3. I picked this because it shows that Auggie is aware that he is different from everyone else and he doesn't like looking like that.

Ariana | 10 comments I think the second quote was a very sad part in the book. No one should feel like that. He should be proud of who he is and what he looks like.

Brylee | 15 comments I feel bad for Auggie because he is so normal in every way besides his look and is treated as if he is not a normal kid.
