Right?! I love the heat between them! It’s such a fitting passion for Channing! I’m really quite pleased with how Miss Carriger can write distinct styles of passion for her amorous pairs.

I love how she captured and the restrained passion of Channing. Every scene with them is just so steamy.

I'm going to do a reread soon but I want to forget some of it so that I can be pleasantly surprised all over again. I want to say Channing is my favourite supporting character but Carriger writes such fantastic supporting characters that I can't even pick one. But he's right up there.

I liked this, but how can you not, it's Gail. I must say that Biffy was my absolute favorite in this one, such a house mother. Just making his pack happy.

He really was. I love how playful the pack were at dinner, at his doing. I feel like that is something Alexia would have done as well. I kind of missed seeing how Alexia would have added to that matchmaker dynamic but it was still lovely without her.
