The theme for the April Book of the Month is a short book. For a definition and suggestions, please see this topic.

This year, we decided to use challenge prompts (in this case, no. 30) for Book of the Month so members could participate without have to add side-reads to their plans. Of course, you don't have to use the chosen book for week 30.

For those new to the group, a brief intro on the book of the month may be found here.

Rules:
- One suggestion per user
- A book will enter the poll once someone "seconds" the book
- Seconding a book counts as your suggestion
- Suggestions will remain open for one week or as soon as 5-6 books have been seconded.

Entries:
- A House at the Bottom of a Lake by Josh Malerman
- Nutshell by Ian McEwan
- 84, Charing Cross Road by Helene Hanff
- Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer
- Parnassus on Wheels by Christopher Morley

Available to be Seconded:
- Babette's Feast by Isak Dinesen
- I Was Amelia Earhart by Jane Mendelsohn
- Dear Ijeawele, or a Feminist Manifesto in Fifteen Suggestions by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
- Beasts of No Nation by Uzodinma Iweala
