60+ chapters paywall? With each chapter cost 7-8 spirit stones? With no option to watch an add to unlock as well? well, guess have to find another reading material then.. the translation is good but not that good as I can find a lot of grammatical mistakes, repeated words, spelling errors etc.. ur so called professional team don't have a proof reader or what?yorko? Really? York is an English name, but yorko?? Is he some english-japanese descendant? Some chapters, the name andrea became aderlia too.. so much for ur pro team huh.. and axe is the right spelling instead of ax.. just when people complemented u a lil bit saying ur transalation is good, u got all over ur head and start ripping ppl with ur absurd chapter paywall..
A really good novels However it is just too much to make the last 80 chapters pay to read(spirit stones). It cost too many spirit stones and many don't have so many also there is no ad option so even if one want to read this beautifull novel, he just can't.
I think that the guy on the new cover looks just like Severus Snape. Who else thinks that?Overall good story line. Characters are well expressed. A bit of confusion regarding geographic locations here and there. Story is doing great. Needs to brush up on the grammar and punctuation. Certain words are overused instead of using alternatives. Commas are missing. Apostrophe marks and dashes too. New words and expressions need to be incorporated. Not very detailed descriptions of background and environment. Still, it makes for a decent read.

Its one of the best light novel i read. So realistic and really breathtaking. Even after many chapter it won`t get boring. I really like the description of the characters and the interaction between the witches.
Novel is great. Everything about it is great. Except for the fact that it’s a premium novel. This novel is in my top three favorites and a novel I read daily until I ran out of SS. Premium makes it a paywall and I can enjoy the novel because I have to wait a month for a free chapter. As of today 53 chapters are all locked for premium and that really bums me out that I can’t afford a single chapter.
There are over 100 chapters locked?!? This is bat **** crazy I have never seen a more expensive novel to read. Be warned new readers if you don't want to get hooked on the story only to find yourself unable to read on due to a lack of spirit stones T.T The thing although the story is good, it's not good enough to monopolize all my spirit stones, so yeah unfortunately dropping this.

The story isn't my thing since everyone but the main character has abilities. If the author allows the main character to have something more other than the fact that he has more knowledge then I'd say it's a good book.
ery well written novel, one of the few that I feel is at almost a full English Series level of writing and editing, though this may be due to an amazing translation team, honestly only complaint is the system of buying new chapters and the way this website is monetized, I would much prefer a patreon system to this scummy system they have of stones and ads.
The story's great very intertaining, i love how the story twists, Very time consuming, but theirs only few chapter released per day its quite disappointing. 👌👌
Albeit not THE best ln out there, it still stands out enough to be one of the better ones of the lot.Not only does the protagonist actually use his knowledge for a change, the pacing for the entire story feels just right, not too fast, nor slow.

Well not really a fan of reviews but... It is always a wonder to me why this novel is 2nd when everything is so great about it. There are very ****** important factors for me that I always look for a novel. First, the story it self and how smoothly it proceeds along the way and this novel did just that. Second, is to empathize with the main character and other characters too and to let me feel that they are at least close to real people. Lastly, it is important for every author to know how they would help their readers visualize the world in a novel, what it feels like to be there and here in this novel you will read proper world building. I would like to say thank you to the author for this wonderful read and to the translators!

One of my favorite novel on this website. The build up of the characters is satisfactory for my taste. Not the best but better than most I read. The depth of the story is much higher than the usual one bad guy at a time type of novels. Only negative comment I can say for MC is for the sake of reality and logic check, for a normal human being he has too much and too detailed knowledge about technology. But that's my personal opinion.
TL quality anit bad. This review has to be a minimum of one hundred and forty characters in order to gain experience points therefore this user is using longer words to fill the one hundred and forty character word quota in order to gain experience points.
It's quite unique and is enjoyable to read. Makes you feel how amazing our current tech is.

If you are leftist and a feminist and what to read a novel where our technologies are implemented in fictional world this is good but I am warning you if you want a kick ass MC you will not find here, it is brain over brawl and some times it irritates because you fell our MC IQ should be more than 200000 to do what he does and only woman can use magic and it is way more dramatic If you prefer a light hearted and fun to read and kick ass MC then you should try out HAIL THE KING
Awesome story with Science technology and Magic in another world. Well that's all I can say for now cause I'm a Man with few words but I really like the story. I hope the author and the translator will continue to give there best quality in this story. =D
One of my all time favorite novels. I recommend this piece of literature to everyone who enjoys - good world building, plot and smart MC. This novel makes me check in every day just to see how the story is progressing, what's next. Since starting this novel I have yet to lose interest at any point.

I really love this story I can't get enough! The POV of different characters and how their lives was changed was so awesome! The flow of the story is really good like a nice ride. The History and a little Science add another color to the story! Five stars for you my friend!! If possible, I hope we can get more than one chapter a day because its just so addictive! Lol. In a world of witch but no wizard. When you read the story you will feel like the era where Church burned witch in the name of Jesus. But its not...... With its solid story there's also a mysterious background.Although its start with common transmigration (mind only) story line and Mc uses his previous world knowledge in the new world but thats not all there is. Thsns GOD! There is no cheat skill, no metting with god or getting anything on the way.
IF I have say in short form then;
A Guy Who live in the border land which is close to the Demonic Jungle trying to reshape the area with the help of witch and mow down any obstacle which is on his way. This novel has a lot of twist which i know you will love it.
How sad that such a beautiful piece of art was supprased in the ranking by one of the most stupid and basicaly garbage (YEAH IM TALKING ABOUT THAT SHIT SHADOW BITCH).
The Author makes this world very beliveable and his characters -everyone of them- are made very comlex and really lifelike. Autor did an amazing job with the storywriting.Also the translation group: BRAVO! If it weren't for you i couldn't even know of this amazing novel. I must say that the story is one piece of art .. something that needs to be praised and glorified .. only thing is Roland is so broken .. he has an abnormal vast knowledge when it comes to chemistry and machines .. all in all this novel deservs the #1 rank.
Loved it, truly a beautiful read. I didn't expect a Chinese novel could be like this. The first thing I will say is that the title doesn't justify the story. If I was to sum up the story till now, it would be 'Engineer in Another World'. An interesting theory :)

I like the plot in this novel, the story is continue and the secret reveal one by one. this novel really recommended to reader who like strategical and political story.
This novel has one of the best thought out stories I've ever seen. Prob the only one which manages to combine magic and science in such a smart and meticulous manner. The only bad point is that this the new cover sucks. Hope they bring back the old one!

The 2nd big novel that I have started reading, Overlord being the 1st... and this is such a great read, i keep going back and rereading parts of the story after i catch up with the latest chapters because it is so fun to read :D

This is my favourite storyline on the site. The characters are well developed and fun. The main character is smart and calculating but isn't omnipotent. So the story feels more real than others like it.

Translations are subpar for an official translation. You would understand subpar translations on fan-based translation. But this is official translations on the publisher company itself. One would expect quality to be up to standards and checked properly. Some fan-based translation have more quality than this.
Is the title weird? Well, actually it is. But don't let it hinder you in trying it out, it is a great read, truly a great one. This could be the second awakening or perhaps even better. It's a transmigration story that sent the mc back to medival times in a place probably similar to Europe but in fact, witches and many more fantasies truly exist here along with the existence of superstition of medival times.
Honestly I was pretty hooked one the frist few characters. Then, the author started adding new characters, and this world just functions for the benefit for a sole main character. I was very disappointed with the development of the characters because they don't do much. The writing is horrendous because the author just drones on and on about the actions of the characters instead of setting a story, a dialogue, and an extremely overpowered main character with no flaws, Mary Sue and that smack, is even more boring. The side characters have damn more interesting lives.

The plot is lacking, the translation is poor, and the translator is a liar. He said only 10 chapters would be paywalled, but instead paywalled them all. If this was a decent storyI might be able to overlook that, but as is I have stopped reading. Don't read this drivel, it is a waste of time and money.
