It’s early but if the beginning is a good sign it’s off to a really good start.

KathyB (kathybrown) | 724 comments I finished Two Steps Forward by Graeme Simsion Two Steps Forward by Graeme Simsion and really liked it. I thought it was a little slow at the start, but it picked up pretty quickly. Not the romantic story I was expecting, but overall a winner.

You know I had always put this off but after reading The Fact of a Body: A Murder and a Memoir The Fact of a Body A Murder and a Memoir by Alexandria Marzano-Lesnevich and people conparing it, I wanted to see how good it is. I feel like this sets a standard so I am hoping to get caught up in it.

I do listen to podcast but they are more about pop culture and every day events.

Some of my friends have tried to get me to listen to True Crime ones. I'm scared of them which is why I kept pushing off In Cold Blood. I can watch horror or tv programs about criminal stuff but when it comes to true crime, I become a chicken. The reality of the events shake me.

message 26: by Michaele (new)

Michaele | 151 comments I like Criminal because it's not too grim, a few episodes have been creepy, but they are the exception. I don't like anything too violent.
