Summer is becoming closer and closer! Does anyone read more of a certain genre in certain seasons?

I seem to read more light-hearted feel-good books in summer and more deep and thought-provoking books during the rest of the year - and always a christmas-sy book in December!!

Erin Yes! I read more Sophie Kinsella and other "Chick Lit" as the temperature increases.

Kelsey (kelso30) | 82 comments I've never noticed one way or another, I'm definitely going to pay attention now though. The weather plays on my moods so I'm sure it probably does the same to my books.

Jemma (captainjemima) | 61 comments I think I find it more challenging to read long books or heavy subjects in the summer! Otherwise, though, I don't think my habits change.

I read the Millennium trilogy books in the hottest summer I can remember, and I almost gave up when they started talking about governmental/political structure!

I have read a couple of Christmas books in the festive season in the past, but don't make it a habit.
