ACCIDENTAL HEROES was a really good read. The research that went into this book was thorough and believable and must have taken a lot of work on the part of Danielle Steel. The story centers on a flight from New York to San Francisco that may have a problem. The reader gets to see all of the action that goes on behind the scenes to ensure safety of fight crews and passengers.

There are a lot of good characters in this book and they are developed well. Some of them may be stereotypes. I just think that Danielle Steel's writing may be getting somewhat dated. I liked this book for the research on the TSA and Homeland Security but the ending and the way the characters were wrapped up seemed rather trite.
