Lacy | 13 comments Looking for- Historical romance, abused hero time by husband who dies. Her late husband had ridden a friend lied about the herorine and the hero is convinced she murdered him and treats her badly. I may be wrong but I think the late husband was a germaphobe so he never actually consummated their marriage

Where and when is it set?

Lacy | 13 comments Honestly I can’t remember if it’s regency or more Victorian. I think it was set in England

JennyG | 565 comments How old is the book? From the 70s, 80s, 90s, or post 2000?

Read as paperback or as an e-book?

Do you remember the book cover?

Do you remember anything else that might help in the search?

Lacy | 13 comments I read the book between 2012-2018 (sorry such a large time gap), pretty sure it was an ebook, but not 100%. It was set in the 1800s

How was the husband supposedly killed (e.g., poison, weapon, pushed)?
