Amanda | 5 comments Not sure if anyone has picked up on this yet bit I think there is evidence that the chest does contain Kvoths real name.

When Kote tells the story abouy Devan at the Inn. "The high kings name is written in a book of glass, hidden in a box of copper and that box is locked away in a great iron chest where nobody can touch it"

These materials are very similar to the chest copper and iron.

Kenneth Geary (kennethhayes) | 86 comments Are you insinuating that Kvothe is the high king? or that this is a second box?

Amanda | 5 comments No, I'm insinuating that there are kernels of truth in all stories and songs throughout the series. The easiest way to hide a truth is within a fictional story that we may not pay any attention to. There are so many small occurrences (Auri's gifts / Taborlun the great key items parallel - key candle coin) The mention seems coincidental but could it be a hint?

Eyehavenofilter | 26 comments Very interesting, there is always a seed of truth in every myth, legend, fairy tale, story,or secret whisper, isn't there?
