Queen Reviews (queenreviews) | 6 comments Sleeping With Monsters by Amelia Hutchins.

I loved this book because it made me feel invested in her characters that much more. The ending threw me and I’m waiting on pins and needles for the next one!! I had a 2 day book hangover after reading it.

Lynn Veevers | 6 comments My favorite book this year so far, is an Adult Dark Fantasy Thriller (Note: this book is as deliciously fantastic as it's cover, I still can't believe this is debut novel! It reads like a NYT Best seller...no joke!) It's called Immortal Descent by Carolyn M. Walker. It features an all original race of fantasy creatures called Lorns. Love love love this novel! It has 20 ratings and 10 reviews and is holding steady at a 4.9 average rating! If you want to see more this is the link to my review here on good reads!

Ooh I read and reviewed this on my blog actually: http://silverwoodsketches.blogspot.co...

Great debut! The author is very talented and the book was action packed and very original I thought :)

Panda_adn | 3 comments Hey all!

My fave book of 2018 is Pestilence (The Four Horsemen, #1) by Thalassa, Laura and Uprooted by Naomi Novik!

Amazing books, and amazing authors!

message 8: by Errin (new)

Errin Stevens (errintevens) | 97 comments I just finished "Tangled" by Emma Chase, and while it isn't PNR (Unless outrageous wealth qualifies as paranormal? It maybe does...), it was DELIGHTFUL. Not typically a fan of m/f romance told from the male pov, but this story may have changed my mind forever on that front. It was laugh-out-loud funny and delivered every little bit of the escape I'm after when I read romance.

Teresa | 6 comments The Dark Calling (The Arcana Chronicles, #5) by Kresley Cole I love this series!!!

I agree! Pestilence (The Four Horsemen, #1) by Laura Thalassa is absolutely fantastic.

Elsa | 2 comments I also quite enjoyed Harper (Destined for the Alpha Book 1) by Viola Rivard and Shan (Destined for the Alpha Book 2) by Viola Rivard

message 12: by Rayne (new)

Rayne (raynelanfier) I loved Burn Bright I’m a huge Briggs fan and I follow her work closely, which is not to say, I jump frantically on every damn book she publishes.

411Junkie | 6 comments The Cruel Prince (The Folk of the Air, #1) by Holly Black I absolutely loved "The Cruel Prince" by Holly Black and I'm already dying waiting for the next one.

message 14: by Farren (new)

Farren (mmmcookies) I didn't have the highest expectations for Renegades (Renegades, #1) by Marissa Meyer but I absolutely loved it!

I waited for the audiobook to come out and now I have it but haven't started it yet. I'm really excited, but at the same time I am not looking forward to the long wait for the final book

I really love the Alpha & Omega world, too. I don't know if it was my favorite book in the series, or if I just love the series so much that I love any story from it...

message 17: by Nerdy Werewolf (new)

Nerdy Werewolf (nerdywerewolf) I have both The Cruel Prince (The Folk of the Air, #1) by Holly Black and Renegades (Renegades, #1) by Marissa Meyer on my TBR, but I don't know if I'll get to them this year...they both look really good, though.

My favorite book that came out this year is Lake Silence (The Others, #6) by Anne Bishop , hands down. If you've never been to the world of the Others, I highly recommend you take a vacation there and I dare you not to get sucked in.

The characters are so tangible and unique to each other. Mistakes are made and lessons are learned and the rules are not the same as the ones we have here. I love this series. :)

Starr (AKA Starrfish) Rivers | 10 comments My favorite book is hard to pick, but I will say Dark Longing and Pure Rapture. The second one is an ARC. The whole Pure/ Dark Ones series is so addictive it's not even funny. I'm in a buddy read https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/... for Book 2 and it's my second time reading it. But I'm just blow away by the intricacies of the series that I don't even fully appreciate until I've read the other books. This time re-reading was absolutely awesome!

I highly recommend the series to all fantasy/ epic fantasy/ dark fantasy/ paranormal romance lovers. You won't regret it!
