Hailee | 201 comments Hello,

I have a paperback edition of Wizard's First Rule by Terry Goodkind
that is exactly the same as this edition (same publisher, page total, isbn ect)
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...
with the ISBN number: 9780752889801

except that it has this cover
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wizards-Firs...

Would you be able to create an edition that reflects this difference?

Thank you.

I estimated a pub date of 2015, given a kindle edition with that cover was released then. However, it'd be nice to confirm it with your book in hand. Can you take a look at the copyright page and see if there is a more recent pub date than 2008?

Hailee | 201 comments That's great thank you for setting it up.

This reprint edition actually gives the date of 2008.

Sometimes the colophon in a reprint isn't updated when only a new cover is added. I'm still fairly certain this cover is newer than that, but I can't narrow it down much. I'll leave a note on the record for other librarians that the date is an estimate just in case someone else comes up with more info in the future.

Hailee | 201 comments To be honest I did think that that date was a bit early given the style of cover but I think you are right in the fact that they changed nothing but the cover. I dislike the fact that most of the time they don't give cover changes their own ISBN, it would make everything a lot clearer, and it would make ordering matching covers for series over the internet a lot easier as well.
