SWAN MAIDEN ║██ ♔ Ione Theron
Io ⊰ 23 ⊰ Female ⊰ Brooklyn

Often times the voice of reason amid the chaos, Ione is the type of person that would prefer to talk things out as opposed to getting physical. She is fiercely protective of those close to her however, and it would be wise not to test her patience. Referred to as the 'mother hen', despite her age she instinctively feels the need to nurture and protect those around her. She's always the one asking how you are, if you feel alright and if you need anything. She'd likely give you the very clothes off her back if she saw you really needed it. An observer mostly, she enjoys sitting back and keeping a close eye on anything and anyone. As such she's likely to see things other people might miss, she doesn't usually overlook anything.

Born as an only child on a chilly, winter night, Ione was brought up around doting and nurturing parents. She had always wanted younger siblings to care for and look after, but her parents never got around to her silly requests. Without younger siblings around Ione was often times fairly lonely, she took to spending her time around the other children where she was growing up. Their homeland was peaceful and quiet, many people never even knew it existed, and most of the time people such as swan maidens were thought to be nothing more than an enchanted tale told from time to time. But Ione knew it wasn't a tale, she and her mother were swan maidens, and pretty much all of the female's in their homeland were maidens as well. This was their special little gem, tucked away from the rest of the world's prying eyes.

For quite some time her parents didn't want her to leave, they barely liked the thought of her venturing too far from their home let alone leaving it entirely. They though the world was far too deceitful and they didn't want their little girl to be exposed to the way the rest of the world was. But Ione was inquisitive and curious, she wanted to see the world and it's people. She wanted the opportunity to see everything and experience it in it's entirety. By the time she was sixteen her parents couldn't even keep her from leaving the house, she never went far of course. Always keeping close to home to ensure her parents wouldn't worry over her too much.

But as time dragged on she longed to leave and go further than just the outskirts of their home. When she brought the idea up to her parents her mother left for a short time before returning with something bundled up in her hands. She sat Ione down and explained to her what it was and what it was capable of doing. She handed it over to her daughter and a bittersweet smile appeared on her face, if Ione was going to leave no matter what at least she could have something that would protect her should she ever come face to face with any form of danger. From that point on Ione left home more often than she spent time in it, along with other maiden's close to her own age, they would frequent different locations in the world and one of their favorites was this tucked away pond. All of them thought they were being safe, careful even. Though the night came when their cloaks were taken from them, with no method of being able to return home, four of them were at a loss as what to do. Left with little to no choice, they went with the mysterious woman who had appeared and offered them refuge.

Iesha (In east shade house at...) (emberblue) | 68 comments Role: Second Oldest Prince of Elvinger ║██ ♔ Magnus Alexander Dunvar
Nickname: None give yet ⊰ Age: 26 ⊰ Gender: Male ⊰ Username:Iesha

Magnus Dunvar is the type of person that keeps to himself instead of interacting with others. Sparring calms him just as painting does. He's the outdoorsy type who rather be outside instead of inside. While he is a moody person, he can be gentle and caring. Being the second oldest, he feel it is his responsibility to take care of his younger brothers. He's mature for his age, but can be standoffish. He's an introvert, who very much likes his alone time. He judges people on first impressions, which can be a major fault on his part. While he loves his mother, he has a greater respect for his father that overshadow his love for his mother. He try to act in the image of his father which is strong willed that ruled with an iron fist.

The second born son of Queen Mirabelle Dunvar Percival. His name means great in Latin, and he strive to be great in everything he does as a prince. He took his mother's last name out of love and dedication to her. He has three other brothers, but among the three, he is the most distance one.

He fought many opponents, big and small. His most notable challenge was entering ᴡᴏʟғʙᴀɴᴇ forest upon his eighteen birthday to take on a wild bear that was bothering the village people of Elhamm not far from the castle.

In his younger years, he was a quiet child. He would read books when he wasn't being tutored by his many teachers. Being second born, he was taught in the art of negotiation and unity between foreign kingdoms. He is usually the one to go out to form friendships and relationships with other kingdoms in his older years.

With the death of his father, he was heart broken at the funeral, by refused to grieve properly. Showing such weakness wasn't something a prince did, in his opinion. He stood watch over his two younger brothers while he watched his mother approached his older brother, William, giving him their father's heirloom. Jealousy did changed him that day. He wanted to rule for he felt like his brother lack the skills to be a king.

Evelin ☪️ Queen of Witches (evelinwitchleader) ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇

↳ 19 || Female || Swan Maiden

▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬

Unlike the other maidens, Violette is incredibly blunt when it comes to someone- or something, she doesn't like. If she feels something doesn't add up, she'd rather investigate than to let depend on someone else's opinion on things. Alone, of course, since Violette would rather keep to herself than to be in a large group of people- then she'd prefer the role of an observer .
She hates having others underestimate her intelligence just because she's a girl- and she doesn't care if she's talking to the Queen herself about these things.
The only real time she enjoys her human body is when she is reading, since trying to flip the pages of her books is rather hard when you have wings for hands.
Oh, and when she can have a decent meal.
Being a swan maiden made her careless to being nude, since clothes isn't really required. So she doesn't really know- or care, about how she might affect those that aren't like her.
Although she might seem a but....harsh, Violette can be incredibly supportive as well-even if it comes out sounding like she's a pessimist. She just doesn't like giving anyone any false hopes.

Violette was born into a rich family- one of the few that lived in her village. She only has one brother, since her mother didn't want to ruin her figure the same way she'd seen other woman ruined theirs with more than two children. Especially when all she really wanted was a son, which she did have.
Because her father would rather be working than playing the perfect family, she was left with her incredibly annoying mother and twin brother, Clementine. To her parents, Violette was only important for a great marriage alliance, even if she wanted nothing to do with that. She wanted to be part of something that would be frowned upon-(For a lady, she supposed)- a scientist or even an investigator.
Violette became a swan maiden from her mothers side of the family- and she supposed that her mother didn't like her for that reason, since she hadn't been chosen to be a maiden herself.
By the time Violette was sixteen, she had already grown tired of her family and decided to leave before she was forced into a marriage, not ready to let go of her freedom just yet...or ever, really. The only thing that had been holding her back was her brother, since he'd have to deal with their parents for a really long time. But to her delight, he decided to support her in any decision she took. He soon became her "protector" and whenever she had to fly somewhere safe, she knew he'd welcome her.
After her cloak was taken, Violette couldn't exactly go to his place without any clothing on, so she had no choice but to accept the Queens offer of refuge. Especially when she was pretty sure the woman had everything to do with the disappearance.

|| Likes: Naturally, Violette is incredibly fond of animals- at least the ones that didn't try to eat her in her swan form. She is also attracted to plants and nature, having always found it beautiful and wonderful. She also likes to read, finding the thought of getting lost into a story amusing. Violette often finds herself singing to the sound of the forest around her.

|| Dislikes: She hates seing how humans are slowly taking over the forest she loves dearly. She also hates the social class humans made- the one where a life is more important than the other. With the animals, there is none of that. With them, every living being is considered important and beautiful...
She also hates being stuck into a place- of having the freedom she lived with all her life be taken away.

|| Fears: Violette fears the thought that she'd never find her coat again- the one she uses to become the free and beautiful swan. She also fears the thought of losing her freedom, as well as being left alone.

(Eldest Prince of Elvinger) ║██ ♔ (William Percival) ⊰
(Will) ⊰ (27) ⊰ (Male) ⊰ (Lyn)

Despite his demeanor during his teenage years, William carries an attitude that wouldn't be seen making a sarcastic joke. He's serious in the work that needs to be performed but he is most often found with others and likes being around company. A bit easy to read, he can't hide a smile and likes to be honest with his opinions. He is kind, formed himself to be a gentleman but mysterious enough to not reveal more than a complimentary smile to the suitors his mother has tried to introduce to him before. Acts like he's busy, especially when he gets nervous but in any event, he doesn't falter under pressure.

First born to the King and Queen of Elvinger, William's role in the family was set before him. In the given time that his father were to pass, William would be the first in line for the throne. His parents knew this well, for mortal beings did not live forever. The little childhood that William might have had was bombarded with private tutors and lessons. He was taught to read and write as early as he was capable of doing so. At the age of ten he was meeting with one of his father's horse trainers to instruct him how to ride properly.

As William continued on his teenage years he was introduced to more difficult skills. One of these was sword fighting and the other was mastering formal etiquette. With the many lessons he had to endure, Will longed for freedom and the rules only made him feel more of the need to break them. His attitude started to become sour, his respect fell short, especially to his mother who always seemed busy looking after his three other brothers. In this time that she was preoccupied he would sneak out of the castle and galavant in other less appropriate actions.

He started to earn a lofty reputation of being a fun, easy going and playful prince at the age of eighteen. He wasn't a stranger to a woman who passed his way with a beautiful smile. Nor was he ever a fool to pass up an offer for a drink, leading him to a dark hole of intoxication. Although the brawls he would get into with his friends or cocky adversaries gained him experience outside of the practice ring. It more than often led him to earn a scolding from his father, the anger seeping out of his throat as he warned William of the impression he showed. He, as his father would say, was a representation of the kingdom.

The scolding were always just that, never any physical harm was done and William felt like his father was being too overbearing. After all, Will still attended each one of his lessons, shouldn't he be rewarded with a little harmless fun now and then.

The news of his father's death hit William at the age of twenty two. He had been at the tavern late at night, drinking while a girl tried to win his attention and she was getting it. He broke away from a kiss with her when his friend of ten years raced to his side. "Your father, he is dead," Olvan had said, clearly out of breath, his sincerity pouring from each word. William staggered out of the tavern, sobering up as he ran, the questions filling his mind. When he arrived at his father's chambers his mother was already there, his father, eyes closed and pale face. He fell to his knees, he couldn't believe it, the father he knew was gone. Memories of the time his father had trained with him, been easy on him, laughed with him and his expectations for him flooded William's brain.

The funeral was held shortly after, at the grieving his mother came to him and handed him a silver chain. It was that of his father's. "He wanted you to have it," she said, hugging him tightly before leaving with the rest of the procession. Will gripped the chain in his hands and followed after his brothers and mother.

The next day he showed up to the meeting the chancellor's were having with the chain I'm around his wrist. Formally dressed, and with a stern and serious expression. He led the meeting that day, announcing his desire to take care of what his father once did; protecting the castle and the kingdom of Elvinger. The boy William once was disappeared, he hardly left the castle to go into the village. Instead he focused his time on learning, spending time with captains and reading the scrolls in his father's library.

Years passed and Will's knowledge only grew, but he felt the prying eyes of the advisors making sure he didn't step out of line. If he so wished to do something that wasn't in his status, someone else was sent to get the job done. Annoyingly, he complied while eyes watched but when he had time, he would go out through the back of the castle and into the surrounding forest. Peace was found there, away from the advisors who taught him how to run a castle, and away from his mother who wished for him to marry.

| Likes: Military tactics, sword fighting and horsemanship, nature, being hands on and doing the work for himself
| Dislikes: People telling him that he can't do something because of his title, being labeled as a person only by his title, secrets, and sarcastic attitudes
| Fears: The kingdom being taken over by foreign invaders, one of his brothers dieing, blacking out

| Extra: He wears a silver chain bracelet around his right wrist that used to belong to his father.
| Appearance: Adam Gallagher

| Theme: "And if you were drowned at sea, I'd give you my lungs so you could breathe. I've got you brother"

Kya | Diamond | 36 comments Youngest Prince of Elvinger ║██ ♔ Royce Evert Percival
Roy or Royce ⊰ 18 ⊰ Male ⊰ Kya | Diamond

Royce is a typical youngest child, and that comes with all the typical “youngest child traits”. He is funny and charming, and does have a tendency to catch the ladies eyes, and annoy his brothers. He is a bit immature and does have a rebellious side to him, which is present in his habit of cutting it close to deadlines or meeting times. Those who know him would call him confident and outgoing. He just holds himself in a manner which he knows will gain the favor of others. Mischief could have been his middle name, and should have with all the trouble he should get into [and occasionally does] on both the inside and outside the castle.

Last born to the King and Queen of Elvinger, Royce knew that is was unlikely, nearly impossible, for him to obtain the throne, so he doesn’t try for it anymore. All three of his older brothers seem obsessed with being first to the throne and he knew that if he tried he would just get trampled on. HIs parents focus wasn’t on Royce, it was all on the elder brothers, yet the Queen still pushed for Royce to attend all his classes, so he did.

Roy found a love for riding at a young age. There was something about being on top of a galloping horse that seemed to set him free from the shackles that seemed to hold him within the castle. He was presented with his own horse that he has helped to raise, and now it grazes in the field until he comes and gets it daily. He picked up the bad habit of pickpocketing when his father used to sit Royce on his lap. He would reach into his father's pockets and slip out coins one at a time until he had about five and then he would stop. His father probably knew about the pickpocketing but he didn’t discourage it. He began seeing what he could take without being caught, and still does it today.

Royce never favored swords, but preferred much smaller weapons, like a pair of daggers or rocks and a sling. He trained in the gardens and out on the fields with his mentor, who taught him to be efficient in a variety of weapons, but he always returned to his daggers. Once he got older his mentor coached him through using weapons atop a horse, but he remains rusty to this day from not practicing often.

Royce was only thirteen when his father passed away. He had heard the commotion inside the castle as he was wandering the halls one night. He had been internally conflicted in whether or not he should sneak off into the town that night or not when he saw a guard rush towards him. The guard uttered a few words that have escaped his current day's memory and he ran unsteadily to his father's chambers. He was the first of the brothers to be alerted and the first to arrive, but he didn't stick around for long after he peered in the bedroom, the Queen standing over the lifeless body on the floor. Time escaped him and he didn't know how long he stood in the door frame before being pushed aside by someone who entered next. He turned to head to the stables, knowing that he couldn't look upon his father's body any longer.

Throughout his teen years he has created an alternative name to use while in the town, so his identity could remain hidden, and the expectations and stereotypes that came with the title of prince would not be hanging around him twenty four seven. With this, he has gotten into a few arguments while in town, and has a few enemies from this as well. The owner of the tavern had lost his temper long before he entered the tavern, so when a young boy came in he caused quite a stir, and a few approached him and tried to drag him out. He did end up getting thrown out, but only after fighting a bit.

With spending time in the town, and n the surrounding woods and villages he has seen a few things. He has knowledge of all the town gossip and has dirt on a few people. ((This will be further developed later.))

In the past year, and currently he can often be found in the town among the people, in the practice arena, or out on horseback. He doesn’t spend an awful lot of time in the castle, but will show up for meetings, and meals, and times where he doesn’t wish to leave.
[I may add more, this feels underdeveloped kind of…]

| Likes Horse rides. Daggers. Slingshot. Pickpocketing. Bothering his brothers. Visiting the town (and people in it). Giving his mother a hard time before giving in to her requests.
| Dislikes Having to act as a royal, though he will. His royal duties. Being bossed around by everyone older than him (that definitely includes his siblings). Long/Heavy swords. Archery.
| Fears Being forgotten. Some tragic event resulting in him having to step up and be responsible. Not knowing enough to help the kingdom if need be.
| Extra He always carries his father's dagger which he may or may not have swiped from his weapons rack the day after his death. Royce has a habit of rolling coins and his daggers through his knuckles. [Think rolling a pencil between the knuckles.

(Prince of Valdun ) ║██ ♔ (Gillian Caryx)
(Ian) ⊰ (27) ⊰ (Male) ⊰ (Lyn)

Gillian is someone who speaks only when he finds it beneficial for him, he'll do so in instances to gain information or ties. He's slow to act, usually weighing down all the options he has before he moves to take action on the best possible outcome. He's persuasive and also hard to read, never an open book and always looks like he's hiding something. He tries to have the upper hand on everything, wanting to be one step ahead of the game. Even though he has raw talent in fighting, he never shows it, always full of secrets and never flaunting his power. He's proud of the kingdom he hails from, and easily fused when people disgrace Valdun, or anything else that he cares for.

Prince Gillian Caryx was born to King Torin and Queen Loraine who ruled over the kingdom of Vuldan. From the moment he was born his mother dotted on her son while his father always remained distant. She never missed a chance to tell him how she felt about him and that one day he would grow up to be a great king like his father. When Ian was four years old a tragedy struck the castle, his mother had been killed by three assassins who had managed to sneak into the building during a festival that the kingdom was holding. This festival had been held in honor of the new born princess, Lori, named after her mother. The baby girl was taken, the soldiers who had been guarding her didn't live to say who the assassins were. After a full two weeks of searching the land, King Torin's elite guards came back empty handed and without a trace of knowledge of where his daughter was. When a ransom didn't appear for the baby princess, the King had to believe that she was dead.

Gillian grew up in a castle by himself with only his tutors, maids and other servants to speak with. When he was young, he was never allowed to go past the main castle walls. With Ian being Torin's only son left, one would think that he would pay special attention to him but the distance only grew between father and son. He was never there for any of Gillian's training lessons and never showed approval of his son's raw talent for the sword. At a young age, this never bothered Gillian, he looked up to his father. He would often see King Torin talking with his advisors, dealing with external affairs and planning with his generals in a professional and confident manner. Everyone respected the King, for what he lacked in an easy approachable manner, he made up for in his leadership and military skill.

As Gillian grew to his late teens and early twenties, he showed enough promise and understanding that he was able to move freely within the kingdom of Vuldan. He was smart, quick to act and he was very observant of his surroundings. After all, the main reason why he was in the castle for so long without leaving was due to the fact that his mother and sister had been killed without warning, just be assassin's hiding amongst others. During the time in the castle, Ian prepared himself, fully able to fight off any oncoming attacker and aware of who and what was around him. But due to this secrecy, and hidden life for almost a decade, the prince became some what of a myth. Many villagers had believed the prince had died as well, in result, the sight of him was almost like a ghost. A young man, appearing one day in the streets, riding atop of a horse, wearing the royal robes of a prince, with a few guards to follow him was surely the last thing anyone expected.

It didn't help that Gillian followed in his father's image of being quiet and reserved. Ian's outings became more frequent, even venturing far off outside of the walls of Vuldan. He was looking for something, if anything else, someone. He believed that the people who had killed his family was still out there, and if his father, the King, wasn't going to do anything about it, then he would. He aided his father more often than not in the dealings and protection of their kingdom. He learned directly from him but their relationship never went farther than that.

He was busy for the majority of his early twenties aiding in the protection of the villages in the outskirts. The kingdom of Vuldan suspected the other southern kingdom, Dunchal to be secretly planning an uprising. In one instance the villages were being taken one by one by rogue armies. King Tulin stationed his men at each village, Gillian waiting, patrolling and ready for an assault. But everything was strange, the villagers were all men, not a single woman or child in sight. The surprise attack begun the moment King Tulin's lead general was shot by an arrow, having gotten in the way of its intended target. They had been caught in a trap, with their backs turned. The fighting lasted for the evening, King Tulin's men victorious, but suddenly Gillian felt a searing pain on the side of his abdomen. Blood was seeping through his clothes, he had been wounded at some point during the chaos. They hurried back to the castle's royal physician and he was able to clean the wound and suture it.

His father forbade him to leave the castle, even though he was hurt, he needed to be there while the King was absent. They had a lead, after one of the captured rebels had let a piece of information slip when he had been interrogated. Tulin needed to follow it, hopefully this is what they needed to connect the attacks to the Dunchals. And if most of Vuldan's army was away with the King, then the main castle and the rest of their kingdom would be defenseless without someone their to lead the rest of the men who stayed behind. Gillian understood, but a few days after their leave, Gillian began coughing up blood. The wound on his side, even though it had been closed up, was now spreading black veins from it. He had been poisoned, the illness taking its time to attack at Gillian's body, and the exact poison was none that the physician could pin point. He needed to find someone to help him, if not, he may suffer greatly. But there was a witch, at least he heard tales of a witch being in the Kingdom of Elvinger, if he could find her, maybe she could help him. He had to, he had no choice, leaving his kingdom, he slipped out at night without the rest of the kingdom knowing. Only few close to the crown would know of his departure, the rest of them would believe that the kingdom was still guarded by its prince.

(Martin(disguising as a guy)) ⊰ (24) ⊰ (Female) ⊰ (Kit)

While Marvela may have a very dignified personality as a woman, in truth she is extrmele reckless when she can be her true self. She says what she says, does what she does, and always manages to get away the end. Of course being very agile, she had to learn the hard way that excusing yourself forcefully from conversations generally took some skill. So, she taught herself swordfighting and horseback riding for those not-so-rare occasions were she ends up having to get away. Quickly. To help her sickly father she ends up having to acquire some things. Thievery just sounded so... rough. Of course, this is the outside, if you cracked her open to actually get to know her, then you would find that she is extremely sensitive to everything and can be quite lady like. A true Swan Maiden in her own way.

Marvela didn't originally didn't come from a very rich family in the first place. Nevertheless they were happy, or at least Marvela assumed that their family was happy. They lived in a good village, and her father was faithful, and provided well. It felt like something that had been plucked straight out of a fairytale to be honest. The poor but contented family. Though what Marvela didn't know, was that her mother's supposedly love, eventually stopped. For unbeknownst to Marvela Fae, her mother had hidden her feathey cloak and out of anger was going to sell it so she could live happily away from her family. Though, just as she was about to sneak out, Marvela's father caught her and grabbed the cloak just as she left. Thus, he dedcided that it would be time for him to tell Marvela the truth of everything about her birth. He told a twelve year old girl about why her mother left, the swan maidens on her side, and every single thing. The truth. So, after her mother had left, Marvela took control of the house seeing as she had no brothers and her father was growing sickly. Cutting her hair short, she dressed in boys clothing and took care of the house. Though, as she got older, her father grew even more sick and eventually passed away. Since then, Marvela was extremely lost and decided to live on the road, and for the first time ever, she used her cloak and bathed along with the other women. How she found them was a mystery but she was so drawn to them it was like an isntinct. She let her hair grow longer and embraced the woman she was. Though the second time she spent with these girls she felt someones eyes, like a predators and soon after she didn't go back, no natter how much her soul yearned for it. Sure enough thr day after she stayed home, the girls weren't there. Or next day. And the next, and so on and so forth. Sure enough, as she suspected people started looking for the rumoured fifth swan, and so Marvela cut her hair once more and kept her appearance up as a man, though every once in awhile, Marvela will go back to bathe mourning the beloved bond she had with the other maidens.

Evelin ☪️ Queen of Witches (evelinwitchleader) ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇

• Garret Percival
•• 21
••••Second youngest Prince of Elvinger

Face Claim░ Rafael Miller

------- ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ --------

Like many other people, Garret likes to travel. He has been to many parts in the world through-out his life, not really ready to attatch to any particular place. His favorite places are those with an amazing culture- Like India and Mexico.
Garret likes to read a lot, owning almost every copy of the books made in his days. There's one particular story he's fond of- one where it's main character is Edward Prince. He even uses it as an alias when he travels, so that he can do whatever he wants without being judged.
Even if Garret doesn't really spend time in the family's castle- or even Empire, he makes sure to visit twice a year to see his mother, The Queen. He doesn't really get along with his siblings, at least not in a way where he knows every one of their secrets and stuff. They're more like strangers than anything.
Garrett spends most of his time during his travelling to help out the little community, often giving most of his money at once. Then he knows it's time to go home.
Out of all his siblings, he feels like the most compassionate. Mainly because unlike them, he'd actually seen what could happen when there's bad rulers.
To those who don't really know him, Garret seems like a cocky, smart mouthed spoiled kid. And they're usually right, especially when he's had a little too many drinks. Then he'd also be a bit too violent and mean. At least he doesn't have a whole kingdom depending on him, yeah?

When he was younger, Garret wasn't exactly the well behaved boy of his siblings. He knew there was absolutely no chance in getting the throne- at least not Elvinger, and so he didn't feel like obeying anything he was told to do. And so he would cause any sorts of mischief, mainly so that he would gain some sort of attention from his parents.
When he was fifteen, Garret had become somewhat of a lost case. He had gotten addicted to woman, alcohol and gambling, since he never really had someone tell him so much as a no. But it wasn't until he slept with the wife of a foreign king that his father had enough that Garret tried to calm down a little....only to do it again and again. Then The King decided to send him off to the poor sections of his kingdom, hoping that'll be enough to tone him down a little.
It did work...at least after a many fights with angry brothers, father's and husbands. It was a few weeks of being drunk and dealing with the angry men that he realized something- he liked fighting. Sure, he almost always lost...but at least he picked up a few things along the way.
It was also when he decided that he wanted to be a soldier- you know, help out those parts of the country in obtaining peace. He was so excited to show his father that he had finally grown up, no longer searching for his place in the world...but that unfortunately never happened. Because by the time news of the kings illness reached Garret, his father was already dead.
Not being there when his father died affected Garret greatly, and he continuously thought that it was his fault- maybe the old man died blaming Garret for all the trouble he caused.
In his head, everyone else blamed him as well. His mother, siblings...the whole kingdom. And so he left, not able to look at his family in the same way.
Fast foward a few years, Garret traveled as much as he could, only going back home to his family so that he'd get more money and leave again. He used his fighting skills to defend people that needed it, and his money to help build back their fallen homes.

(Maid in the Castle & Blacksmiths Daughter ) ║██ ♔ (Emilia Mure)
(Emi) ⊰ (23) ⊰ (Female) ⊰ (Lyn)

Emilia always likes to keep busy, if it isn't being busy with her work and responsibilities, it's having her mind busy with imaginings. A bit of a girl with her head up in the clouds, she dreams of adventure and exploring. She is a free spirit that isn't afraid to smile when she is happy nor show she is angry when something has upset her. But when it comes to authority, she plays her role and follows obediently. Perhaps a trait that has been engrained in her since her parents followed what was asked of them. Prideful in the good and honest work her family achieves, as well as cunningly smart when it comes to conversation. She doesn't detest royals, she rather likes social events, but her mind is too wild to be kept all day in a corset to impress everyone around her.

A baby girl named Loria was born to the king and queen of Vuldan, but within a few days of the girl being alive, her world changed dramatically. The assassins came in to take the Queen and baby girl, in the struggle, Queen Loraine was killed. The crying baby was all that was left and the thieves left the Queen's lifeless body on the floor, and only took the baby, still thinking that she could be of use to them. The assassins left the castle in a hurry, the guards had already been alerted by their presence and were after them. In their haste, they became sloppy and couldnt escape thr kingdom quick enough. To avoid the guards following after them they didnt notice when the child fell from the pack that they had put over their shoulder. Thankfully, the little girl survived the fall but in the clamor of hooves her crying was drowned out.

Left alone in the middle of the forest, just a week old. The baby was sure to die if no one found her, but within a few minutes a powerful and mysterious witch came upon the child. For the witch knew that this child was going to be abandoned alone in the forest but instead of bring Loria back to King Tulin, she took her far away from the kingdom. She brought her to the home of a blacksmith, in the kingdom of Elvinger. The blacksmith, Darin Mure and his wife, Jeanine had just lost their baby. The moment that the small baby appeared on their doorstep, swaddled in a white cloth with a small insignia, Jeanine's motherly instincts took over and she started nursing the lost baby. With no lead as to who the baby's real parents were, having never seen such an insignia from which the blanket had, Darin and Jeanine decided to keep the child and raise her as their own.

She was named Emilia, and she grew up as a daughter of a blacksmith. Emilia grew up as a responsible and respectful girl, helping her mother when needed and her father when he seemed too stressed in his work. With her mother, Jeanine, busy with working in the castle, Darin would take his young daughter with him when he had to step away from their home. Often times these times included visiting the castle of the kingdom to deliver and assess the weapons he had made. It was during these times that Emilia became acquainted with several people who lived or worked in the palace. When she had been ten she would constantly wander off and find new things to look at that excited her in the castle. But it wasnt the grandeur that the castle held that caught Emilia's eye, it was the vastness that she felt she could get lost in and find new adventures.

As she grew older, the wandering habit became more of a selected adventure than a pass time. But she stopped exploring the castle, she soon found that rules existed all around her. Those that held major consequences if she broke them, so when she accompanied her father she made sure to pay attention to the task at hand. But failing as she tried to divert her gaze from a particular prince named Magnus whom she had come to be acquainted with over the years that she had been coming to the castle. In one instance that she had been talking to him, a guard had instructed for her to leave and rejoin her father. It was something she had gotten used to, after all, what would a blacksmith's daughter be doing talking to a prince.

Despite all the rules, Emilia longed to be free of anything that held her down. She was a carefree spirit that run when the ladies walked in their dresses. She stayed out late, not for parties, but to gaze upon the stars. But her curioisty always was the worse part that got Emilia into trouble or helped her find things. One evening, as she tended the house while her parents were away, Emilia stumbled upon a wooden old box. She had never seen it before, it was poorly tucked away in the back of her mother's closet. Inside, Emilia found clothes, so small a newborn would fit into them and a blacket with a rather unique gold insignia on it. Before she could take a second look Emilia heard her father come home. She rehid the box and never spoke of the contents within to anyone.

When Emilia turned eighteen it was time for her to properly get a job. She took her mother's job as a maid within the castle, with Jeanine's age increasing it was better for a younger girl to help with the maintenance of the castle. As well as the constant upkeep of the guests that would enter the castle and need tending to. After the death of the King things became more difficult for Emilia, women from all around the kingdoms came and visited the castle. Parties were held, social outings to be prepared for. All the while Emilia tried hard to focus on her work rather than the second son who she paid more attention to, and he to her. But there was no time to talk to anyone nowadays, the Queen had more guests, four young maidens to be exact. And with more guests, came more work for Emilia and the others.

She's smart in many different ways, especially when it comes to thinking and sometimes planning. She is calculating and knows exactly which steps her opponents will take. She understands what the people of her kingdom have been through, but only because she has had an incredibly difficult life with many different problems that she tries to use to help her kingdom. She lies. A lot. To protect people, to harm people, to hurt people, she will do it for whatever she wants, and as she is extremely ambitious about what she wants to achieve. She has a way with words. She can make her voice soothing, which sometimes helps scared children calm down, but she can also make people melt under her voice. She is extremely sad. She doesn't want anyone to see her as weak and/or vulnerable.
Born to King Orion and Queen Rosalind in the prosperous and peaceful kingdom of Askaria, Seraphina was always placed second, after the kingdom, at least to her parents. She grew up with the company of a royal guard, Liam. Liam and her were basically conjoined to the hip, spending every free moment with each other and would often explore the woods around the kingdom and the woods outside the kingdom. Everything changed when Askaria was destroyed by a cult that didn’t believe in peacefulness or a princess being the blood heir to the throne, attempting to kill Sera, who had been in the woods, reading a book. Then, she realized that Liam was the only person who knew where she had been, and she felt stupid, betrayed and vulnerable. Luckily, she survived, with the help of some training she had asked Liam for when she was younger, and her knowledge of the woods.

Sera was alone, with a kingdom of survivors and ruins. She tried to repair her kingdom, a duty to her parents and the kingdom, who were both destroyed by the cult. She worked day and night to repair the ruins and the feelings of those who lost their loved ones in the destruction. She noticed a nearby kingdom, where the princes had beautiful maidens, who seemed to have appeared out of nowhere, she become interested, and sent a faithful guard, Levi, Liam’s brother who was definitely innocent and the nicest that guards could be, to the very kingdom, awaiting intel to know more about that kingdom.

Emri ⊰ 19 ⊰ Female ⊰ Kya | Diamond

Emri is a carefree spirit and is quick to anger. She has a kindness that is present in her composure that makes people think she is easy to trick. Little do people know that it would be easy for her to trick them while they are attempting to trick her. Emri has a compassion/passion that burns like a fire. It burns brightly for things she enjoys doing and those she enjoys being around. She is trustworthy for the most part, unless someone double crosses her and then she'll get even.

Emri was born into a small family. Her mother raised her alone, always telling her that her father had left the two with a coin purse that would last them and that he would return when the last coin was removed from the bag, but her mother had never removed the last coin. It sat there in the bag, in the top drawer of her mother's bed side table. Emri believes that her mother, Lilian Coln feared her husband, and that is why she never allowed the bag to be opened anymore.

With that weighing down her childhood she began to see secrets all over the place. Some of the other mysteries that kept her wondering were inside and outside her home. Why had her mother locked up the closet door in the bedroom? Was there something in there she wasn't supposed to touch? She had been unable to pick the lock so she had given up trying. Emri also has voiced her concerns about the pull that seems to tug at her occasionally when she looks into the woods a certain way. Her mother played it off as some curse that surrounded the woods so she never ventured deep into the woods.

Early into Emri's teen years her mother grew sick. The doctors could not determine what had brought upon the illness, nor could they figure out a successful cure. Lillian spent the remaining months of her life bedridden, and in need of constant care. Caring for her mother was not an easy task, she was constantly drained and nearly worked herself over her limit.

The last time her mother called her there was two objects sitting on the end of her bed. The red coin purse that held a single coin, and a feathery cloak. As much as she wanted to inspect the objects she went to her mother's side. Her mother explained the feather cloak, but never got to explain the coin pouch. Her last breath was holding Emri's hand and a tear rolling down her cheek.

After the small funeral for her mother Emri went on her way and decided to take her mother's final advice. She found the other swan maidens shortly after as she explored the forest, finding the pond where the other swan maidens bathed. She was welcomed in and grew close to a few of the other maidens. She doesn’t quite understand fully what it means to be a swan maiden and hasn’t discovered all the perks and/or downsides yet.

Emri is searching for a way to find his father without pulling out the coin, but is having no luck. She has gone all over this kingdom searching and is considering leaving to look further away from the kingdom, but doesn't have the guts nor the supplies to do so yet. There was one person along the way that was trying to lead her astray. She caught the trickery but didn't say anything, turning it around on the man then swiping his coin pouch, filling hers.

| Dislikes Talks of curses. Trickery. People who use others.

(Regina Legret)(Regina/Rose)⊰ (28)⊰(Female)(Mimi Angel of Love)

Regina is known to be a queen who is very outgoing and highly spirited. She can really captivate her audience when she speaks. When under big amounts of pressure she tends to become very moody and reluctant. She is very kind and generous when she can be outside her title as queen. When she becomes reluctant as a queen she becomes a risk taker and has no sense of consequence.

Regina Rosette Legret was born to Byron and Vanessa Legret on an island known as Orphion which is a beautiful tropical island. She was the princess of this land not knowing how much pressure would be on her in the future.

Within her first year of life, her parents had managed to teach her how to speak in two languages. She learned their native tongue on the island and English. When she was one and a half she was able to run around playing hide and seek with the maids and other servants.

She was very spirited and couldn't help but to make up stories when she went out playing in their rose gardens by herself. She was learning a lot of things and very fast. Her first dance was when she had turned 15 years old.

Regina was very unaware of the fact her parents were trying to marry her off to a man they thought would be suitable for her. She did fall in love with a knight by the name of Nathaniel who was very noble and funny though they were 10 years apart.

Her parent did not approve of Nathaniel at all and were trying to cast him away. He had felt so much for Regina that he came back in the middle of the night. They made love and as he tried to leave the palace he was killed by the king himself.

A few months later Regina began to feel like she was getting sick only for her mother to tell her that she was pregnant. Her mother was so angry about the pregnancy that she tried to poison Regina.

Regina didn't drink the wine that night. She was getting really upset with the fact now her parents were trying to get rid of her.

When in labor she noticed that her parents helped in taking care of her but when she had the baby boy they wouldn't let her have him. "You will wed Paul Greenbrier and be our new queen" They said before walking away.

At the age of seventeen, she was now engaged with Paul Greenbrier who was a total control freak. She couldn't take it anymore so the night before they were supposed to get married she poisoned him. He was found the morning of and for a month her parents did what they could to find her another suiter.

As they were looking they went out of town for a week only to be found murdered the night before they were supposed to return. Regina was actually very upset when she found out that her parents were murdered that meant that all the pressure of ruling the country was now on her shoulders.

She became reluctant to rule because she was very worried that she would ruin her country. Her royal advisor seemed to be very happy that Regina was thinking of finding someone to replace her as Queen.

Regina went through months of thinking about what she wanted to do. She found herself by going out with men and women but when she realized they were only into her because she was the queen. She began to get rather moody.

The royal advisor had invited Regina to go out with her on a boat. She went with her and got drunk. Later in the night the advisor hit Regina in the back of the head and threw her into the ocean with hopes sharks would eat her.

Regina did indeed got bit once by a shark but had been drifted away during a storm to the shores of another land.

Known as the Scoundrel King of Seaearth. He's cunning when a situation calls for it. Can be reckless when it comes to making decisions, which is why he is often found at the head of his army, leading them into battle. He can be charming when he wants to be, like when charming a pretty girl. He's a king who has a reputation for being a ladies man, yet all he does is flirt with every woman that crosses his path, and he would occasionally reach out and give their bottom a small squeeze, which earns him a slap usually. He likes to hang out at taverns and saloons, and is a down to earth kind of person despite his unorthodox ways. He tend to break rules than follow them which earns him a lecture from his councilmen or the council of the church that he reports to. Underneath all his scoundrelous behavior, he loves his kingdom and will protect it with every fiber in his being. He caring and has a soft spot for women.

Theodore Armstrong was born to the loving King and Queen of Seaearth. During his childhood, he was a untamable child, despite his parents unwavering love and attention. He was given everything he could every wanted, including a pet horse by the age of six. His parents were down-to-earth people, and so he was occasionally taken on strolls throughout his kingdom to mingle with the common people. At some point, he met William Percival and had be sort of a bad influence on the eldest Prince of Elvinger. He would be the one to sneak out in the middle of the night just to see what adults did in saloons or he would be the prankster out of the pair. He was taught and schooled in the roles of a prince, but his parents were lent with him, thus leading to him doing whatever he pleased. This includes getting into trouble for pinching women's bottoms, a habit that's unbreakable today.

At the age of sixteen, his parents were assassinated by the witch`s henchmen. He was devastated by this and had plotted revenge. The Church saw that he wasn't ready to take the role of king, and so they gave him a year to seek out his vengeance. Upon which if he didn't succeed, he was to give up on his revenge. To this day, he doesn't know the location of the wicked witch.

He was pronounced king upon his seventeenth birthday. Upon becoming king, he passed a rule that he didn't have to marry the woman chooses for him by his deceased parents. Instead, he was allowed free range to choose his partner whenever the time came. However, his people are growing wry of not having an heir, and so he's attending the festival in Elvinger to see if he could find someone. Though that won't stop him from flirting with every woman he is attracted too.

Although he is king, that didn't stop him from living on the wild side up until he was twenty one. He fought. He gambled. And he partied. He's known to invite pirates into his kingdom just so he could have a good time. However, none of these things were a threat to his kingdom due to his charming personality. He believes in making friends with everyone than fighting. However if a fight or war were to break out, he was more then willing to participate, especially when it came to conquering land.
