April's read will be The Birthday Party by Harold Pinter. It's a short play that won't take you long to read but is ripe for existential picking. I really liked it when I read it so would like to see what everyone else makes of it. Feel free to leave thoughts and discussion points down below.

Sebsopor | 2 comments Is anyone reading this? I've read act 1 and it seems like it's gonna get interesting now. I didn't understand the purpose of the dialogue written in that way like the characters are not paying attention to each other or are unaware of what's happening. Can anyone elaborate on this without spoiling. Does it get revealed later on? or is this part of a philosophical topic I'm not aware of.

Sebsopor | 2 comments I finished the play. I have to say I would have enjoyed it more with the context but it was still intriguing. However, sometimes I got bored by the lack of understanding.

Anyone else reading it? Does anyone want to discuss anything?
