Let's discuss book 3, Shadow Kiss! Beware this thread has SPOILERS!


I'm almost 100 pages in and I love how this is the book that Rose realizes there is more to life than just guarding Moroi and she is starting to resent that. You can see this in the last two sentences on page 85.

"Over and over again, I repeated the guardian mantra: They come first. Those words were really starting to annoy me."

I’m just over 120 pages in, and though I just read this book in 2016, I completely forgot about the character Jill being introduced in this one!
