I love all kinds of books in different genre's. My favorites are historical fiction, nonfiction, horror, John Grisham type books, thrillers, and fantasy. I'm sure I've read books in other categories as well. I despise science fiction and romance.

Hi, Laura and Jill!! Don't forget to nominate your choice for horror subgenre here on the group page! Have a great time and happy reading!

Hi, Ariana!! It's very nice to hear from you! I am a major Stephen King fan as well. It and Salem's Lot are my favorites from him.

My name is Caitlin. I am a Georgia girl born and raised. (but I dont like grits or sweet tea haha)
I consider myself a poet at heart. Though it has been many years since I've written.
I dont read as much as I want to or should. I have a Bachelor's degree in English lit but am SLOW AS CHRISTMAS when reading a book. I barely made it through any of the books I read in college due to time limits.... but I am great at symbolism and bsing my way through a paper about a book. ha.
Anyway,
Genres I enjoy reading are: poetry, nonfiction (spiritual, true crime) historical fiction, mystery, graphic novels, horror, and good ole fantasy (with occasional sci-fi thrown in.... mainly short stories my dad shows me from fantasy and sci-fi the magazine.) and more probably.
I really like a depressing book.
Joe Hill is my favorite current author with his graphic series "Locke and Key" being at the top of all my lists. 😁
Sorry that this post was so long. You said "a little"
whoops.

My name is Scott, and I am the moderator of this little (soon to be bigger) group.
I live in North Georgia, but my wife (Becky) and we are moving to Wisconsin in a few months. The heat in Georgia is just tough for us.
I am an avid reader, and horror is my favorite genre.
My favorite horror authors are Stephen King, Michael Mcdowell, Bentley Little, Adam Cesare and John Saul.
Send me a message any time you would like. I would like to hear from you.
Scott.
