Rachael (allons-y-bookworm) | 3210 comments A CENTURY OF BOOKS
Duration: 1 April 2018 - 30 June 2018

For this quarterly challenge, we would like you to pick a century and read books that are either published or set in that century.

If you're looking for inspiration, Goodreads has lists for the best books of each century which go right back to the fourth century.

How many books will you read?

This challenge will be led by Jenny. Thank you

Rebecca Bowen | 50 comments Okay, I’ve just finished my first book, the murakami one and I found it very nice (it’s strange reading murakami in English)
I just noticed that from the 1st I have only read books from the century I have chosen: story of a seagull and the cat who taught it how to fly by Luis sepulveda
The handmaid’s tale by m. Atwood
The man who planted trees by Jean Giono
Do they count or did the challenge start yesterday? In any case I devoured murakami’s book and I’m happy I managed to finish it in one day
