Bookworm with Kids It is time for quarterly book nominations. This quarterly will run from April to June. Books nominated for the quarterly must be by an Irish author or deal with issues specific to Ireland.

Please remember:
1. People may only nominate one book.
2. All nominations must be seconded.
3. You can nominate a book or second a book not both.
4. If the book you nominate wins, you must lead the discussion.
5. Authors may not self nominate.

Nominations shall close at midnight GMT on Monday 26th March. For those outside Ireland:

New York: 7.00pm
LA: 4.00pm Sydney: 11.00am, 27th March

Clare O'Beara | 148 comments I'll wait to see what others nominate.

Bookworm with Kids I have set up a thread about the Quarterly Irish Play here:
if anyone wants to take a look.
I can only send one message per day to all members so I couldn't announce the play thread properly!

Hans I suggest:

John Boyne - The heart's invisible furies

Bookworm with Kids Hans, that was our Quarterly read from October to December. Would you like to nominate a different book?

Bookworm with Kids Nominations have now closed and the poll is open here:

Bookworm with Kids In a very close run poll with only 1 vote separating the three books, The Good People by Hannah Kent has been decided as our Quarterly Irish read for April to June.
I am looking forward to reading it. See you all in the discussions!

message 18: by Barbara (new)

Barbara (bdegar) | 4626 comments I read this in January and I find I don't remember books well enough after a few months to discuss them. But I will drop by...
