A good Renaissance era novel following a (non-didactic) young Jewish woman through that period adventurously , emotionally and thoughtfully. Jews, Christians, historical figures. Colorful and involving.

I have joined for discussions of Jewish historical fiction or non-fiction, specifically for the 16th century. This could include the Spanish Inquisition and Ottoman Empire. There are some fantastic books for this time period.
