Aislinn | 34 comments Hi!

There seem to be two versions of my book

Can you please merge them? They seem to have the same reviews, so I'm not quite sure what's going on.

Claudio | 67 comments The “primary” edition was created without ASIN,
the “other” edition is an automatic import from Amazon with ASIN.
You know the number of pages?

message 3: by Aislinn (new)

Aislinn | 34 comments Page count is 264

Thank you!

Claudio | 67 comments # Not Done

I’m so sorry, Aislinn, but seems that the Amazon edition cannot be eliminated. I tried 4 times but the edition is always here!

Can you check if in a few hours or tomorrow it’s eliminated from database or request your merge here for SuperLibrarian...

Aislinn | 34 comments OK, thank you for trying!

Sandra | 24728 comments It's in the queue to be merged. I think Claudio was trying to merge the copy with 55 adds. Librarians can only do up to 5. Going the other way seems to have worked.

Aislinn | 34 comments I think you might have got them the wrong way around. My paperback edition was deleted.

message 8: by Claudio (new)

Claudio | 67 comments Sorry, Aislinn, where I see the paperback edition?
In the edition you’ve created, you entered: Kindle edition, no ISBN, no ASIN, no count page;
in the automatic Amazon I see: Kindle edition, ASIN B07BMPKTVS

If you request for a merge, the edition without data was incorporated to the other....

Abcdarian | 19906 comments You could add a paperback edition Aislinn, or we could if you provide the information. It does not seem to be on Amazon.

message 10: by Aislinn (new)

Aislinn | 34 comments The paperback was there, linked to the edition that had the ASIN number (created by Amazon) that I said should be the primary edition. Now it seems to have disappeared. I'm happy to recreate the entry, but will that cause problems? Since it was there before? I think you must have deleted it in the switch.

Here it is on Amazon:

Abcdarian | 19906 comments Added the paperback: It is combined with the kindle, and all reviews will attach to both editions.

When adding an edition it is most important to add the ISBN or ASIN, as this prevents it being added again by the auto-import bots or anyone else, and shows that it is indeed a unique edition that needs to be kept.
