Nonka | 11 comments As this is a piece of Canadian literatures I can't help noticing the common issues with, first of all, M.Atwood's 'Surfacing'; but with others as well, like M. Laurence's 'A Bird in the House'. Quite excited about this. Are there any other examples you can recommend me?

Hmm. I'm not familiar with this. Could you explain more please?

Nonka | 11 comments The main characters lost children - in "Surfacing" due to abortion, in "A Bird in the House" due to stillbirths and an adult son in war - and seek to heal, to make things whole again, I mean they want to go on in life.

Nonka | 11 comments Heart Berries is a piece of Canadian literatures, female lit. about a vulnerable lady "fighting for" survival which is the main theme in every Canadian literature ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surviva...).

I haven't read any myself, but goodreads caters to a Listopia which creates lists of books on a certain topic.

Here are two that might work:
https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/1...
https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/3...
