My lists are fluid. I keep an open mind I actually my book choice. Part of the problem is my vast TBR. I love my books, though.

The original plan was to choose books from the TBR to match the prompts. So far its been working. While this year's reading has been less random, unlike previously when reading plans were not priority, I am thrilled to discover so much, in a more intentional way ;D

Sorry for all my typos. For some prompts, I have several books that meet the category. Choosing books is influenced by my mood or how busy I am. A good problem to have.

Amy (azulaco) | 8 comments I do want to read from my TBR as much as possible, but I'm not sure I have some of these categories on my shelf.

Childhood favorite - a Nancy Drew book

My picks (as of today!):

Steampunk - Soulless
Childhood favorite - The Secret Garden
Outdoors - The Snow Child
Friendship - A Thousand Splendid Suns
Refugee - Shantaram
Flowers on cover - Rules of Magic

I’ve finished one and started another. I’ll need to leave plenty of time for the chunkster, Shantaram.

Amy (azulaco) | 8 comments I found a book at the library yesterday that would work for the refugee prompt: The Icon Hunter: A Refugee's Quest to Reclaim Her Nation's Stolen Heritage.

Barbara, The Snow Child is an excellent choice for the outdoors prompt. I've been wanting to read that for awhile. That sounds a lot more appealing than the other books I was considering!
