Name: Akari Fujimota

Age: 11

B-day: October 21st

Species: Neko

Hogwarts House: Gryffindor

Flaws: She'll snap at anyone who calls her short or 'child'.
She cares too much for others {A strength and weakness}
She sees good in everyone, meaning she's willing to give everyone more and more chances, only for them to keep stabbing her in the back and hurt her.
Her extremely good hearing and sense of smell can sometimes put her at a disadvantage.

Skills: She a quick learner, Quick Reflexes, Her extremely good hearing and sense of smell can sometimes put her at an advantage. She has a great memory and remembers practically everything she reads, but she's terrible at remembering names for some reason.

Appearance: description

Akari is a small, petite girl who stands to be around 4'9". She has dull blue hair, her left eye grey, and right eye purple. Despite many may think, she was born with her eyes like that. And no, her left hasn't always been blind. She's extremely frail and slender and has rosy pale skin. She often wears a set of bells in her hair and a collar {Just like in the picture}. She wears this because she often managed to scare her family, teachers, and other students because she had always been quick on her feet and really quiet. It was often common for her to get lost, so she would wear the collar with a address written on it. She's blind in her left eye, having to rely on her right to read and see. Many old people often associate her eyes with legends and often tell her about what they represent. {Down Below is separate pictures of what her eyes look like along with the what the colors represent, as before mentioned in the sentence above}

Wand: Poplar wood, Dragon heartstring core, 12 ¾" in length, Supple flexibility
description

More About Wand {Provided by Pottermore}:
Poplar Wood; “If you seek integrity, search first among the poplars,” was a great maxim of my grandfather, Gerbold Ollivander, and my own experience of poplar wands and their owners tallies exactly with his. Here is a wand to rely upon, of consistency, strength and uniform power, always happiest when working with a witch or wizard of clear moral vision. There is a tired old joke among lesser wandmakers that no poplar wand has ever chosen a politician, but here they show their lamentable ignorance: two of the Ministry’s most accomplished Ministers for Magic, Eldritch Diggory and Evangeline Orpington, were the possessors of fine, Ollivander-made poplar wands.
Dragon; As a rule, dragon heartstrings produce wands with the most power, and which are capable of the most flamboyant spells. Dragon wands tend to learn more quickly than other types. While they can change allegiance if won from their original master, they always bond strongly with the current owner. The dragon wand tends to be easiest to turn to the Dark Arts, though it will not incline that way of its own accord. It is also the most prone of the three cores to accidents, being somewhat temperamental.
12 ¾" in length; The following notes on wand length are taken from notes on the subject by Mr Garrick Ollivander, wandmaker:
"Most wands will be in the range of between nine and fourteen inches. While I have sold extremely short wands (eight inches and under) and very long wands (over fifteen inches), these are exceptionally rare. In the latter case, a physical peculiarity demanded the excessive wand length. However, abnormally short wands usually select those in whose character something is lacking, rather than because they are physically undersized (many small witches and wizards are chosen by longer wands)."
Supple flexibility; The following notes on wand flexibility are taken from notes on the subject by Mr Garrick Ollivander, wandmaker:
"Wand flexibility or rigidity denotes the degree of adaptability and willingness to change possessed by the wand-and-owner pair - although, again, this factor ought not to be considered separately from the wand wood, core and length, nor of the owner’s life experience and style of magic, all of which will combine to make the wand in question unique."

Occupation(optional): Hogwarts Student

History: Akari grew up with her parents until she was around 5 years old. Akari's mother was pregnant with Akari when she and her husband were thrown in Azkaban. They only had about 3 months until Akari was supposed to be born. But, they were accused for a crime they did not commit and were thrown in Azkaban. Akari's mother, Rose, became weak overtime, and having the Dementors around was no help. However, she kept strong, for the sake of giving birth to her baby girl. When Akari was born, she was born with two different colored eyes. Of course, this could be explained by muggle Science. It's a form of Albinism. Because of lack of Melanin, one of her eyes ended up being without any color (Her grey eye). However, her parent's could never figure out just why only one of her eyes were affected, and not her other eye or her hair. As Akari grew up in Azkaban, she seemed not to be as affected by the Dementors as most others. Actually, as a baby, while they did sort of frighten her at first, after a while she got used to their scary faces and would always try to get close to one. Sometimes, they managed to tap into her fears, but as a child, she wasn't all that aware of the world and had very minor fears, like fears of animals and at some point water. However, then again, whenever they managed to tap into her fears, she'd be mortified for a couple days or hours.

However, after she was over it, she'd go straight back to trying to get close to the the monsters. Luckily for her, her parents were around to stop her. However, this did not last long. Her dad was the first to fall. The dementors sucked out his soul right in front of Akari. And then went her mother, only a few hours later. Akari, who had never really been bothered by the dementors all that much, had became mortified of the creatures. The demons had practically killed her parents in front of her. A horrifying thing to see. However, she wasn't all that scared of the creatures themselves, it was more like a fear of losing someone, watching someone die. However, it might have as well been the same thing, because whenever she saw the demons, she would always remember what happened to her parents, the memories flooding back as if the incident had just happened a few moments away. After that happened, she knew she had to get out of there, as her parents had told her.

Eventually, with the help with another prisoner, she and said prisoner escaped after about 1 year. Akari, who had committed no crime to put her in that horrid prison, wasn't at all a concern to the Ministry. They did not chase after her, however the prisoner she escaped with eventually found himself right back in Azkaban, having not learned his lesson and having not bothered to hide. Akari on the other hand, fled to the muggle world, where she met with an old friend her parents had told her about; her guardian who was meant to take care of Akari if anything had happened to Akari's parents. Akari only had a name and picture, so it wasn't much to go off of. Of course, Luck never seemed to be on Akari's side. Akari hadn't found the guardian who was meant to take care of her, but she did find a kind squib who willingly listened to her story. The woman's name was Claire, and she used to go to Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, a Magic school in France. The woman raised Akari as a normal Muggle child, and raised her as if she were her own. Akari went to a normal muggle school, where she made a few 'friends.' She kept her left eye hidden with an eye patch.

Her so called 'friends' seemed very nice at first. Akari had never had friends before, so at first she didn't really notice they were using her. She just thought friends were nice to each other like that. Reality, her 'friends' were just using her to get her homework and to cheat off her. In public, they acted friendly with her and eventually they climbed the ranks of popularity. They told everyone that Akari had been blind and had some form of autism, they lied so everyone would think they were doing a good deed by being nice to the girl. Akari soon learned her lesson though. One day, while she was hanging out with the girls and their boyfriends, they thought it would be fun to take Akari's eye patch away and bully her. Akari couldn't really do much, because it was 6 against one. 3 of them being the girl's boyfriends. However, they took the bullying way to far. They were playing bishop, however, instead of stabbing the pencil between her fingers, they had the boys hold Akari down while they took the game up a notch. They poked the pencil between each of Akari's eyes, however, Akari was struggling way too much, and the girl accidently stabbed Akari's left eye. Akari went to the hospital. Her eye healed over time, however her left eye was rendered blind. And the kids she had trusted only to be bullied by them? They went to a juvenile detention center.

They actually had the nerve to blame Akari for it. Saying it was her fault for constantly letting them bully her and then think they were still friends afterward. However, they weren't completely wrong. Akari did constantly forgive them and foolishly continued to follow them around, thinking of them as friends. Ironic, right? Her trusting others too much only brought her pain. Even so, after she got out of the hospital, she visited those old friends of hers. She apologized to them, even though she didn't do anything wrong. She forgave them for the despicable things they did. A year later after letting more poisoning people in her life, she got a letter from hogwarts. Of course she decided to go.

Personality: Akari is very sweet and easy to get along with. She's nice and very easy to influence. She's very determined and generally has a good heart, she just finds herself in the wrong place and trusting the wrong people. She's very caring and will help others whenever she can. Many think she's naive and dumb. However, she comprehends more than most may think. She's extremely comprehensive, she just doesn't really show it all that much. She's also a bit too trusting. She's willing to do anything to help her friends and is often jumping into dangerous situations without hesitation, even if it's to help someone she doesn't even know. She doesn't exactly fit in either. She doesn't really make an effort to hide her ears or tails. She embraces who she is, and not many people are fond of that. She's often found reading some fairy tale or old history books during her free time. Growing up around Humans, naturally the things she learned was different. So everything in the history books were just as entertaining as fairy tales.

Family: Rose Fujimota, Javier Fujimota {Biological Parents}, Claire Aresene {Legal Guardian, Squib, "Mother"}, Max Aresene {"Brother"}

Blood Status: Pure! {Shh!}

Other: Whenever people ask about her life before Hogwarts, she often goes quiet and refuses to talk about it.
