Luke sat at the vanity in his tour bus that was turned into a trailer as well. He sighed as he checked his phone, waiting patiently for his manager to pester him about practicing. He stared into the mirror and adjusted one of his wigs, thinking to himself. He was thankful they were going to be in town for more than three days, so he had time to go out and check things out. He finally stood up and picked out cute wedge cowboy heels and a knee-high royal blue dress. He took a deep breath before letting it out before fixing his make up real fast. He had to make this quick. No more than fifteen minutes then he had to get back before his manager catches him.
Luke grabbed the purse and snuck out as quickly and quietly as possible. It did not take long to finally be out of range of everyone. He slowed his pace down, thinking to himself. This was a new pace so he needed to be careful of which direction he took. The last thing he wanted was to go down the wrong street. He glanced around at everyone. He did not have a destination but he did want to just get as far away from his manager as possible. He turned back around and was to contemplate which way he was going, it was all too much. He hummed the melody to his new song as he walked. He was glad to be out and about.Luke continued to glance around until he backed up slightly, bumping into something. "Oh, I am so sorry." He turned around and blushed when he realized who he bumped into. Luke swiveled around and looked at the male, pausing his humming a bit. He blushed slightly as he let his eyes glance him up and down. He finally glanced down at the ground before finding the other male's eyes, giving him a smile, "I am so sorry." He apologized again.
Luke chuckled behind his hand. "You can say that I am part of Luke Inaman's crowd." He answered him. "And it is nice to meet you, Chris." He answered him as he could not take his eyes off of him. He finally glanced down at the ground before finding the other male's eyes, giving him a smile before feeling his phone vibrate. "Excuse me." He slipped the phone out of his purse, reading the text from his manager. Swearing under his breath as it did not take more than a minute realize he was going to be late for a rehearsal if he did not get himself back to the trailer to change. "I apologize but I have to go." He apologized and headed back in the direction he came from. He bit his lip hoping he would see and meet the guy again. He was about to call his manager when she called him. "Of course I am...I am changing now. Tell everyone I will be on the stage in fifteen." He was so hesitant to run, but he knew that was unladylike. He hung up and fast walked back. With fast walking, it only took him five minutes to get back and eventually not even ten to change into his rehearsal clothes and change his make up. He also double checked to make sure everything was hidden away again just in case his manager walked in to grab anything. "Luke, get on that stage now or the owner will be upset you took this long." The manager ordered him; Luke nodded and headed onto the stage, waiting for the cue to start.
Luke stood on the stage singing his heart. It was just a rehearsal so he did not have to push himself, but he would rather impress his manager. As he rehearsed, his manager asked one of the assistants to go and get something healthy for Luke. The assistant headed out and soon arrived at the cafe before coming back less than twenty minutes later with what their boss asked of them. Luke's manager called Luke over as it was time to take a break and eat something. Luke took the drink and food back to his trailer as he needed to be by himself as he ate. As he ate, he could not stop thinking about the guy on the street. There was something about him that caught his eyes. He just did not know what at the moment. He sat there, staring off into space, trying to figure it out.
Luke had just was in the middle of making himself some tea when he heard the door of his trailer opened. He glanced up for a quick second and then back down, listening to the person. "Oh, go sit down. Would you like some tea?" He questioned as he glanced back up again but pausing and staring at the individual. This did not make sense, he had just seen the other male only a few hours ago. He was relieved that he now has another chance to talk with him. He relaxed a bit a smiled at Chris. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Chris Johannes... " He began as he finished stirring the tea, ready to sit down. His manager never told him about this interview but if he this guy was here to interview him, then he would let him.
Luke placed the cup of tea on the table, "Here, this one was going to be mine, but you can take it. I do not mind making another one." He informed him as he poured himself another cup and repeated the steps. "So, what would you like to know?" He questioned the other male as he finally sat down across from Chris. "I do not mind answering any question you have." He added as he placed the mug to his lips.
Luke smiled at Chirs, "Oh, wow, so many questions." He bit the inside of his cheek. "I usually just base it off of my daily life..." He trailed off. He chuckled. "I don't have anyone that I am in love with at the moment, so I just base my songs on my love for my mother since I was close to her." He continued. "I do hope one day I get a chance to have someone in my life." He added as he gave him another smile. "Any more questions?" He asked.
Luke took a sip of his tea and sighed. "I could never see myself with Michelle Glenmore." He answered him. He really did not want to give himself away with sexual identity. He sighed as he took a sip of tea, "Ms. Glenmore is not even my type." He added as he looked Chris in the eyes. "And make sure you say some nice things about me." He spoke, waiting for more questions from Chris. "Anymore?" He questioned as he hoped there weren't anymore questions about dating and relationships.
"Hmm, I started when I was little. About ten or so. I began with the piano and then started playing the violin and worked my way to the guitar." He answered. "As I grew older I became more into music and I played around with my voice and sounds, it was not until the school talent show the local news got a hold of me." He continued. "Then my manager found me and here we are." He motioned to their surroundings. "I started playing because that was where my heart pulled me to." He added. "Did I answer your questions?" He asked him before taking another sip of his warm tea.
Luke thought a bit, trying come up with an answer. "If I end up making a mistake on stage, I keep going." He answered. "And for your second question, I would tell them to not give up. " He stood up and brought his mug to the sink. He grabbed the notepad he kept on the counter, tore a piece of paper out and wrote his number down on a piece of paper. "Is that it?" He questioned as he finally sat down and slid the paper over towards Chris. "If you have any more questions, here is my number." He added.
Luke stared at him when he spoke. He tilted his head as he took in all of the information Chirs was saying. It took him a second to realize who the other male was talking about. Chirs was asking about Gianna, his counterpart. He did his best to not laugh. He relaxed and nodded, "You mean my friend Gianna?" He questioned as he answered the other male. "Of course she is here now and is the interview done? "He questioned him as he planned to get Gianna. "She texted me and told me she was chilling in the back." He informed him. "Again, want me to go see if she is willing to come out and say hi?" He added as this was counterpart Gianna Rose they were talking about.
Luke stood up and thanked him. "I will be right back." He turned and headed towards the back, calling her name before disappearing behind the curtains. He pretended to talk to 'Gianna.' He sat down at the vanity and put on some makeup and the wig he had worn earlier. He found the blue dress and slipped it on. Within a few minutes, he finally walked out but as Gianna Rose. Luke, now Gianna gave Chris a relaxed smile, "Chris, right?" She questioned as she walked closer and sat down across from him. "My friend said that you wanted to see me again." She spoke as she crossed her legs under her table. "Did you want to ask me something?" SHe questioned him.
Gianna chuckled and leaned forward. "I would love to and my name is Gianna. Gianna Rose." She looked him the eyes, not even caring about what Luke's schedule was. "And just so you know, I do not have a boyfriend." She added as she let her eyes glance Chris up and down. "So, did you have a place in mind?" She questioned him. It was weird to think that this Chris guy preferred the female side than the male side. The fact that if Chris found out that she was actually Luke, she was not sure how he would react but right now, she was going to focus on the present.
Gianna rose as well when Chris said that he wanted to say goodbye to Luke. She gave him a small smile. "Yes, let me go get my handbag." She informed him as she turned and headed into the back. She placed her phone and a few other things in the purse before heading back to where Chris was. "You don't need to. Luke is busy with a few things." She began to guide Chris to the door. "I overheard you two talking, what do you think of him?" She questioned Chris.
Gianna stepped out behind him, "It is okay. I know most of this anyways." She informed Chris as they walked. "I am only friends with him. We were best friends since we were little." She answered him as she thought for a bit. "I bet, if you asked Luke, he would not mind hanging out with him. He might need a break once in a while..." She trailed off a bit as this was her time, not Lukes. "So where is this cafe?" She questioned him.
Gianna nodded at Chris's first comment and then shook his head for the second one. "I think I will be fine walking." She informed him as she turned the corner with him. "You said the cafe is a really good place to go and you pass by it every day. What do you normally get?" She questioned him as she ran her fingers through her hair again. "I just want to know if there is anything good there." She added.
Gianna listened to Chris answer her questions. "That is an interesting combination of a drink." She spotted the sign as they neared. "I don't normally go to cafes since I am usually on the road and it is hard to even find one." She informed Chris. "You could say Lilac Cove Cafe is the first cafe I will end up going to." She pointed out as they finally arrived at the door.
"Of course you can ask me a question." She answered. "Tea please." She answered his recent question first before answering his first question, "Yes, we are always traveling. We are in town for a few days and then we go make our way to our next destination." She thought for a bit. "Why do I follow Luke? I follow him because I am his best friend and I support him on whatever he does." She shook her head, "No, I am not his manager." She added as she looked at the tea menu.
"I will go for the chai tea and a plain croissant." Gianna informed Chirs. "I was going to say, that I can pay for myself, you don't need pay for me." She informed him as she opened her purse. "Chris, I can take care of my own food." She informed him again as she stepped up to the register.
"As much as I appreciate your kindness, would like to pay for my own food." Gianna insisted to Chris as she gave him a relaxed smile as they both stood at the register. "I don't want you to waste your money on me." She added as she was about to tell the cashier to put it on a different receipt.
