Kelly | 33 comments I'm new to the group and heard about this challenge from one of the members of my library book club. I'm a librarian and feel like I probably should read more of the classics I never got around to in school. I've spent most of my career working with teens, so I've read a ton of YA lit, but very little adult fiction. I'm an inveterate non-fiction reader, so I'm hoping this challenge will give me the impetus to read more adult fiction and clear some of these books off my "to read" shelf!

You have a nice variety here. Some of them I love and some I had never encountered before. Hope you have a great time reading them and that you are successful at clearing some shelves (something I am always trying to do).

Kelly | 33 comments Thank you both! I'm in the process of reading The House of Mirth and really enjoying it, which is a pleasant surprise because I disliked Ethan Frome.

A good variety of books. I hope you will like Tartuffe and Bel-ami, they were my favourites from last year.

Kelly | 33 comments So, Of Human Bondage was a slog. I really did not enjoy that book at all.
