Blight (wolfcreed) | 132 comments Can anyone recommend vintage 1970s-1990s horror compilations, the likes of Apple Paperbacks, Scholastic, Point Horrror, and series like Goosebumps, Bone Chillers, Shivers, Dead Time Stories, Graveyard School?

I’ve already read a lot, listed here;

Rachel | 1531 comments How about the Nightmare Hall series? It was a spin-off of Point Horror. List of titles in the series: https://www.goodreads.com/series/4995...

There's also the Fear Street series - full list here: https://www.goodreads.com/series/4104...

You might also like Paul Jennings' short stories, many of which were adapted into the 90s TV show Round the Twist. Most of them are quite creepy and supernatural. List of his short story books here: https://www.goodreads.com/series/7005...

Edit: forgot to add Christopher Pike! he's written loads of teen horror fiction from the 80s/90s.

Rosa (rosaiglarsh) | 5204 comments There were Point Fantasy and Point Horror. Were there any other "Point" series?

bookel | 2326 comments According to this, Point SF.

Point SF is the newest of the series produced by Scholastic Children's Books, which includes Point Fantasy and the far better known Point Horror. Aimed specifically at the juvenile market, Point SF is a welcome opportunity to bring new readers into the market.

There was Point Crime too! https://www.goodreads.com/genres/poin...

Also Point Romance, but I don't think that's the kind of thing the original poster is looking for.

Can you tell I grew up in the 90s?
