Stacey B Hi.
Im disappointed there have been no recent discussions .
Perhaps someone could recommend a book for this group to read to pickup the silence?
Or, maybe share some favorite books?
I loved The Eagle and the Child"

Erika Dreifus (erikadreifus) | 2 comments I can't commit to a group read at the moment, alas. BUT I am tracking my Jewish reads (including fiction) here on Goodreads: https://www.goodreads.com/review/list....

Stacey B Hi.
Thank you for taking the time to comment.
OMG... I did not realize that you were the author of "Quiet Americans.
I read your book two years ago and I just loved it. Truly!!
Actually, I am going to re-read it and write a review; that hopefully will be more accurate than my two year old memory. :)

Oh, my goodness! I am thrilled to hear that, Stacey. (And if you ARE able to write a review--even better!)

Amy | 2 comments So what's the deal? This group has a new name and new moderator? About time. But possibly bears some introduction, format? Maybe all that just happened and I need to give this time.

message 10: by Stacey B (new)

Stacey B Amy, thank you for pointing this out.
I didn't recognize this as the other group.
Thought this was new one.
Hopefully we can get more than 135 people.
Not sure what the difference is between this one, and Jewish Carnival .
???

message 11: by Amy (new)

Amy | 2 comments I now think this is the former Jewish historical fiction. The defunct Jewish book club actually still exists. I don’t know what Jewish carnival is.
