Hi everyone. New to Goodreads and excited to interact with everybody. I'm looking for reviewers for The Soul Wars Collection, which contains all four novellas in one novel.

Gaspard is an old-world vampire, and Kara is a Valkyrie, sent to assist Gaspard in fighting a war that could destroy civilization. But, Kara despises vampires and resents her new assignment.

Can Kara put aside her feelings and help Gaspard save the world from the an upcoming war between vampires with souls and those without? He's interested in winning -- both the war and this stunning female warrior who shakes his being to the core. He's the ladies' man that can't get the one lady he wants, and he'll do anything to change that.

Thanks for everyone's response yesterday! Still giving away free e-books to anyone interested. Here is a short snippet. Adelaide is an 80 something year old former New Orleans society woman, and she's got spunk.

"A voice said, “Welcome to my home, Madame Beauchamp.”
Adelaide turned her head toward the voice, which emanated from
the entrance of the sitting room.

His baritone was silky smooth with a slight edge, like whisky on ice. The man who addressed her wore a custom blue pinstriped suit with a lighter blue tie and matching pocket square. His long dark hair, marred only by a white streak from his left temple, was pulled back into a queue held by a blue ribbon. The last time she had seen him, his hair had been cut short. She wondered how a dead person grew hair.

His eyes matched his tie, a sparkly blue that had undoubtedly
charmed many ladies in the past. His mouth was quirked into an amused smile as he walked toward her with his arm out as a signal that he would escort her into the sitting room.

She ignored the arm, walked right past him, and settled herself on a long chaise.

Startled by her poor manners, Gaspard Bessette lowered his arm and followed her, his eyes now glinting with both amusement and some annoyance. He sat across from her, taking a moment to unbutton his jacket and inhale a small breath.

“Madame, how may I help you?”
