мαr ♚ | 264 comments Keke woke up with a jolt, she relaxed into her bed once she realized that she wasn't back in the Games, that it had all been just a dream-no-more like a nightmare. She threw her legs over the edge of the bed and stood up, smoothing out her silk pajama shirt as she walked into the bathroom, taking a quick, hot shower and getting dressed, today was the Reaping, and she wasn't really looking forward to it as much as she should be since she was going to be a mentor for the District 12 victors, so was Haymitch...her thoughts trailed off as she sat down on the edge of her bed, running a brush through her chocolate brown hair until it was smooth to the touch.

Gale let out a sigh as he ran his fingers through his hair, today was the Reaping, and to be honest, he was quite nervous though he kept those feelings of nervousness to himself as he got dressed in the best clothes he could find, splashing water on his face and rubbing his eyes. His mother rushed into his bedroom and hugged him tightly, telling him how much she loved him over and over and that he would always be her son no matter what. Gale gave her a kiss on the cheek and hugged her back before walking out of his house and towards the Meeting Area where the Reaping would take place.

Viora held her breath as her mothers thin, frail fingers braided her hair, today was the day of the Reaping, and Viora was too nervous for her own good. She had been in Reaping before this and never once been chosen as a victor, she had gotten lucky, last year she watched her best friend walk up onto the stage just to not come back, and it scared her terribly. What if this year she got chosen? She would probably die just like her best friend had, since she really couldn't place any deadly skills she had right now, she was just too nervous to think. Her mother patted her shoulder and Viora walked out the door heading towards the Meeting Area trying not to shake.

Finnick looked up into the mirror, designers were rushing in and out of his room, fussing over him and making sure he looked perfect for the Reaping today, he smiled into the mirror as one of the designers fixed his hair, his smile faded after a while, saving it for the crowd as he let out a sigh, running his fingers over the smooth fabric of the shirt he wore and looking into the mirror to watch the people behind him who were fussing over what else they should have him where, he chuckled under his breath and lowered his eyes, waiting for them to finish.

Coral~walking~among~the~stars | 25 comments Haymitch let out a sigh as he got himself dressed, buttoning up his shirt and adjusting it to where it fit him the way he wanted it too. Flicking his hair out of his eyes he walked out of his room, slowing at Keke's door, reaching forward he knocked loudly three times, "c'mon, sweetheart, won't you let me in?" He asked through the door, Haymitch could clearly imagine Keke sitting on her bed, trying to keep herself under control as she waited for the Train to stop moving and dump them out at District 12.

Korlin was already at the Meeting Area before everyone else was, she stood there, the first girl in line and waited, she had gotten her finger pricked by the peacekeeper that was now behind her and stood by herself in the middle of the Meeting Area, looking up at the screens as they remained black, watching for some kind of flicker or movement that said the screens were working right. Letting out a loud sigh just to annoy the peacekeepers, Korlin watched as people started coming towards the Meeting Area slowly, she moved over to the girls side of the open area, not wanting to get yelled at today.

Vendira looked up at the gray sky, his eyes not missing a single thing as he watched the clouds moving. District 7, the lumber district, that's where he belonged, that's where he is. Though he probably wouldn't be coming back, Vendira had a feeling he would be chosen as a victor today at the Reaping, but you could never be absolutely positive about who would be chosen, so Vendira crossed his finger and hoped that he wouldn't as he heading down to the Meeting Area for the Reaping.

Breckla watched from the other side of the room as Finnick was fussed over and constantly changing his clothes to fit his designers imaginations of how he should look today. She shook her head, her designers had already gotten her all ready for the Reapings today, but she wasn't anywhere near as important to the Capital as Finnick is, he's the Capital's baby, if something goes wrong, they fix it for him, not giving it another thought. But Breckla still liked him anyway.

Her heart immediately started racing as she stood up, walking over to the door and sliding it open, pulling Haymitch into her room, the door slid back shut as Keke pressed herself to him, kissing him roughly, her eyes shut tightly as she played with the buttons of his shirt.

Gale got his finger pricked by one of the peacekeepers, falling in step with a group of boys that he didn't know too well. After everyone had arrive an announcement was made that the train would be delayed because of a block on the tracks and probably wouldn't be here for another hour or so. Letting out a sigh, Gale shifted from foot to foot as everyone was ushered out of the meeting area, getting told to go back to whatever it was they were doing before they had come here.

Viora looked up at the video as it played, she couldn't remember a time that a tribute from District 7 had won the games. What would make this time so different? She closed her eyes, taking a deep breath as the video faded off of the screen and a woman with bright turquoise blue hair dug her hand into a glass bowl that held all the names of the girl in District 7, "Viora Westlinn!" Blinking in shock, Viora stood dazed for a moment before stumbling up onto the stage.

Finnick watched Breckla through his own mirror, winking at her as the designers finally set him free and he turned to look at every inch of the outfit they had put him in. He let out a sigh, "only the best for the Capital," he muttered under his breath and straightened out the shimmering shirt that he wore, adjusting it so that it fit him the way he wanted it too before turning around to face Breckla. "What do you think?" He asked, gesturing to all of him, including the clothing he now wore.
