I wanted to record this one because it's pretty great, but I'm not counting it cuz it's the second Argentine I've read

I also read this little creapster and I’m counting it because I’ve read no Argentines. It was fine. But I guess I do not get all the hype. I also don’t love horror-ish very much.

I would like to, for the sake of anyone reading... explain. This is a horror book. Not too big, but.. quite horrific. It reads, to me, as a person who doesn't really know a lot about horror, as a "classic" horror book. This surprised me. I guess I thought it would be something *additional* or something. BUT, it got a lot of hype this year precisely for it's perfectly playing with your emotions. Reviewers mention "atmospheric" and it creating a "visceral sense of urgency." I agree. It did that. Perfectly.
