Far-away places, cultures, and languages have always fascinated me so why not make a weekly theme out of it? Your challenge this week is to read a book that fits one of these requirements :)

A) A book that is not in your native language (Are there any bilinguals out there?)

B) A translated work

C) A book that takes place on a different continent.

D) A book that involves a character traveling to a place very different from their home. (Interpret this any way you want)

--------

I can't wait to see what people will be reading this week! :)

Anna (Adventures with a Book Nerd) (bookish_anna) Oooooo, I like the challenges that you came up with! :)

Lynn | 43 comments I like this challenge very much. Would Harry Potter going to Hogwart's work for challenge D?! :)

Mehsi | 26632 comments Guess I will go for option A or B. So I will either read an English/German book for A, or grab a Dutch/German/English book for B. :P

Harry going to Hogwarts definitely works :)

And if you're not living in Europe, Harry Potter would also work for C since it takes place in the UK.

Oh good point! I live in the USA so that definitely works. I will read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for this. Great challenge.

Our Dark Stars by Audrey Grey
