Hiya, Team Caps! Thanks for volunteering to guide your team through a round of BookShelf Bingo! Your job, should you choose to accept it, will require a few things:
1 ~ Be our go-to person should we have any questions about your team
2 ~ Organize your teammate's weekly reads for each shelf/category so that the BSB Ninjas can quickly and easily verify and approve your stamp request(s)
2a ~ Create a master list in a post (preferably on the first page of your team's thread) and update it weekly or as often as necessary
2b ~ Post your team's stats on the Captain's Log prior to requesting a stamp
3 ~ Encourage and motivate your team (you may also ask to borrow Judithe's whip whenever necessary)
4 ~ Post regularly to ensure your team is communicating and on track each week
4a ~ Send them a PM and friendly poke if they haven't posted at least once a week, noted their book choice, and/or appear to have dropped out of webspace
5 ~ Send us a PM (Steph, Sandra or Judithe) should you need us for any reason throughout the game

Hello, Laura, Sandra and Natalie! I hope not being very bad this round and that we are lucky with the randomizer 😉
Name, no, sorry, I'm terrible with it. About Captain, if nobody else is available I can be, but as this is only my first whole round, perhaps it's better if I'm skipped ;)
Using a random name generator in no particular order:Witches of Power
Never Trust the Mist
Fate of Rainbows
Welcome to the Home of Winners
Zombies of Winter
Harmony of the Rose
Possessed by the Night
Raven Affair
Captains with Tentacles (sorry)
Tree of Stone
Cats and Ducks
Whispers in the City
Just some suggestions to play with :)
Laura wrote: "I'm here! And I'll give Natalie a nudge. I know she's been on vacation."Thanks Laura! I am home, but not typically on GR in the evenings. I was sitting here a good chunk of yesterday refreshing the bingo section to see if teams were posted yet.
I can be captain if no one wants to. I've done it before. I don't have any tentacles *double checks* so that name may not fit :) I'll think about names. Nothing is really jumping out at me at the moment.
I like a lot "Dressed to the Nines". "Nine Apples Up on Top" is nice but perhaps a tad complicated, I don't know.
Hmmm, I've not heard of Nine Apples Up on Top, so probably not one his better known ones.I like Witches of Power & Dressed to the Nines.
I will read Caressed by Ice (tagged six times) for futuristic romance. I haven't decided on a free space book yet.
Sandra wrote: "Sounds like Dressed to the Nines is the winner. Does anybody prefer something else?"
So, Dressed to the Nines, with Natalie as captain?
For Futuristic Romance I'll go with Glory in Death. Hopefully the library will be quick with getting it in.
Natalie was already listed as Captain :) Steph had to do it cause you can't edit another person's post. We are now official as Dressed to the Nines :)
Guess I'll start setting up tracking posts. I haven't been captain since the new system was put in place so I'll likely wait until a few other teams have posted so no rush on books :)

Natalie, it only started last round, so you can check out how to do it on those posts.https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...
So you link your post on Stamp Requests to the Captain's Log posts.
Sandra, one question, are rereads allowed? If they aren't, "In Death" and "Psy & Changeling" are out 😔😢
Yes you are allowed to re-read. From the Rules thread:
~ Re-Reads are not preferred, however they are allowed [Note: if you re-read a book, you may only use that re-read for ONE shelf per game]
Ok, sorry not having read it, although I think I can keep that card for another shelf (Anna Hackett has some books in this shelf, and there are a some of the JAK's old books, so I think I'll go there).
Well, I didn't plan that very well. Both my books are kindle editions. Just dl Lake Silence & already had Born of Night. And my kindle is FLAT - dead flat. Now charging.I could start reading on my computer, which is easy for me. But I wanted to go lounge on my comfy chair *Oh woe is me & my 1st world problems* LOL
A warning from myself: My selected book usually isn't the book I read in the end 😔, so captain, please, don't whip me much 😉
Marisa wrote: "A warning from myself: My selected book usually isn't the book I read in the end 😔, so captain, please, don't whip me much 😉"LOL, mine can change as well :D
For Free Space I'm going to read Burn Bright, and for Futuristic Romance, I'm between Shield's Lady (shelved 5 times), Crystal Flame (shelved 5 times), and Beyond Galaxy's Edge(shelved 1 time).
