Reading a lot. Everyone was nice to me, and then one day, someone accused me of cheating. I hope that things don't turn out like that for you.

Ah I see! Well I for sure don't cheat, not saying that you do :-) , But IMO if you post the same reviews over again it does seem bad, from what I saw in the post it seemed as if it was the same reviews over again?
Of course everyone is going to have their own opinion of me and how I read, but I do this for fun, and competition.

Rae Lake | 2207 comments Guys, I do have a questions, A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #1) by Sarah J. Maas , I am reading this book now and there is a Series reading thread that was started back in feb, someone else also started in March reading this book. Does it count for BR this month? It has two start dates, one in Feb and one in Mar...
here is the link https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

message 707: by Felicia (new)

Felicia As long as the last comment on the thread was at least within the last two weeks you can start commenting on that BR thread and it’ll count. 😁

Felicia So I only got about 100 pages read of Renegades last night. My grandmother decided to stop by my apartment yesterday so that took away from my reading time. I have about half the book left. Then I'm moving on to Immortal Reign. :D

And have you read King's Cage yet?! I LOVE the Red Queen series. I can't wait for War Storm! :D

Hi guys, I don't know how many of you have been following the drama, but Wolf has left Team Spinach, which leaves them in a difficult position.

My solution to this problem is to split Team Spinach up, with Aly and Rebecca moving to Team Sausage, and Jamie and Meaghan moving to Team Soap.

I did have a look, and I can transfer people across with only having to change one review to a different letter. Each team is going to have to have a chat though, and rearrange letters etc. which might be a little annoying for you. I do think this is the best way forward though, and I also feel that this will make the three remaining teams more competative.

I will be sorting this out now, so here goes...

message 725: by Felicia (new)

Felicia Okay, sounds good.

Hi Aly and Rebecca! :D

message 726: by Felicia (new)

Felicia Okay, so the new ladies points were already added to our score. So we need to figure out whose planned books are going to be removed from the spreadsheet to make room for the new girls.

Aly's L book 'Love's Ache' will push my Language of Thorns out of the spreadsheet. That book isn't a BR and my LofT will be which will make that L worth 6 points instead of 3.

After the book I am currenly reading I'm only signed up for 6 more books. I don't care if any of the books I have planned to read get pushed but I'm not going to not read them. They are all BRs and I don't want to back out of those because of all the Wolf drama.

Hopefully we can just get the board filled and then work on the letters again. :D

So with the added folks I think we are just going to have to take letters as we read books instead of keeping them on hold. That should hopefully make sure we flip the board and then people don't have to wait to read... What do you guys think???

Hey Aly and Rebecca!!!! Welcome to SAUSAGE!!

message 729: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 53804 comments Mod
Yeah hey guys :D

Just something I noticed: I actually planned for the 'spare reads' at the bottom of the ss to be filled in when we have spare books, so we know what books need to be added when we flip the board. I wasn't going to fill it with books before we read them. Does that make sense?

If no one else can mess with the ss and all of that, I'll be able to do it in around 6 hours realistically. I get home in 3hr and then need around 3hr to do my uni work. People just take a look at the review thread for the new members' books, and tell me which books you'll be willing to swap with them. Thanks Felicia for doing that already. I'll change that for you.

But this is really going to mess up our planning, especially as I've given up books already.

message 730: by Aly (new)

Aly (alyp_01) | 11128 comments Hi, I'm here. Thanks for welcoming me to your team!

Felicia, I don't mind if you want to use your Language of Thorns book since it will have more points. Anything that's good for the team :)

Should I post here what my planned buddy reads are? Or do you have a spreadsheet or something?

Yeah I'm kind of heading towards this way as well.... And then once all of the letters are full we could potentially move books around to get the most points in terms of BRs and pages and letter points etc.

Rae mind linking the spreadsheet here? I just deleted my link by accident XD

message 735: by Felicia (new)

Felicia Oh wait. We can read books and get points for them if they don't fit a letter? I thought it had to match a letter?

It does have to match a letter. Did I say something contradictory?

Thanks Rae!

message 739: by Felicia (new)

Felicia Maddie, that's why I'm saying I don't really want to not read the books I have planned at the moment. I'm only signed up for 6 more books. And since they're BRs I'm not backing out of the buddies. And some of the books I went and purchased because they were buddys.

I think that's why if we can just fill the board it'll be easier to work with another board after we've filled the first one.

It's gonna be tough at first to figure everything out but I think we can handle it. :D

Yea, I am thinking that too. I just don't want folks to get stalled out waiting for a letter.

message 742: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 53804 comments Mod
Everyone, I believe we now should take out all of the planned books in the ss and just add them in as we go. Preference is the BRs clearly, but that can be rearranged once all of the slots for a letter are full, if a non-BR is taking space that a BR could take better.

Yup that was me... I was super wrong...lol. After I thought about it for a few it didn't make sense anymore.

message 749: by Maddie (new)

Maddie (maddisonbruce) | 53804 comments Mod
Okay. Also in terms of the blank space books at the bottom of the ss, can we take out the ones we've planned for and just add them in as we go? Not that there will be many as we're filling in as we go, but it just helps keep track for if there are any we need to add when we flip.

message 750: by Felicia (new)

Felicia Agreed. Let's take all the unread books out of the spreadsheet and everyone can go in and put in the books they've read and then book's that have been finished can be listed at the bottom for when we flip the board.
