SOLVED. (YA?) Fantasy, Fiction, Superpowers? - Book series, boy in high school has a dog, golden retriever i think, it gets hit by car and main character is forced to use his powers to heal him, and can then hear his voice in perfect English. [s]

I read this back in high school in 2012 or so, and it starts of with a high schooler who has a crush on some chick who doesnt know him, but eyes him back too. They soon start to hang out and get closer. Then I remember that something happened to the main character and he could start to talk to his dog through telepathy. The dogs voice in his head only sounded like "Throw ball!" "Pet now!" etc.. Over time a mystery guy starts showing up and in one part where the main character and his dog are in the park, the mystery guy throws a tennis ball into the street and the dog goes after it and gets hit. He then says that the main character must heal him or he'll die. Once he does the dog gets better, and is able to communicate with perfect english, still telepathy though. I think there were 3 books in total, maybe 4 or 5 by now, but it had a white cover I believe with red text, then the next book was a white cover with blue logo. This is all I got.
