Michael Carney



· Requesting any secondary island characters who may be interested in siding with my antagonist Michael. He's going to have a sort of descent into madness and will essentially try to gain as much power as possible on the island.
· This will include trying to force the main island survivors out of their camp (as and when they make a camp, and as and when the secondary islanders get across to the main island) as well as killing off certain characters when the time comes - seeking volunteers
· He's going to try and make a play for leadership amongst the secondary islanders, mostly by manipulation through fear and all of this is likely to kick off at some point after he discovers Elena has stolen from him (yes diana it's gonna be hell and i can't wait)

...so, anyone in? want to make some baddies?

I have this idea that Michael and his group will descend on the main island camp one night, (thinking they might find a cache of old war weapons on the East side of the island) and they'll essentially threaten the main islanders at gun point, steal their resources and try to kill anyone who stands in their way. There will be casualties, I've already chosen a few of mine >:) and it's just going to be a bloodbath.

Happy for him and his men to kill anyone who wants to dispose of a character, full out carnage

Can definitely see Michael going toe to toe with Miles and maybe cheating to win (obvs not killing him though, because him and emmy need their fairytale ending) but yeah I can just see Emmy screaming from the sidelines as they beat the crap out of each other

Omg so what if Michael were to almost beat Miles to death, but then when he pulls a gun on him to deliver the killing blow, that’s when Emmy rushes in and covers his body with her own, and she’s all like do your worst, because if they’re going to go down they’re going down together (and she’s already lost her dad to Michael at this point - sorry Lawson family :S so she has very little left to lose) and Michael by some miracle decides to be merciful because he thinks Miles won't survive the night anyway. But yeah then she nurses him back to health and refuses to take any of his selfless crap, and helps him hatch a plan to finally bring Michael down

However......... How is Michael and murdering children??? Cause I can so see him being the reason Thomas dies. If his family is running and then Thomas realizes that he forgot his stuffed dog so he would turn and go back. Then Micheal or one of his group mistakes him for a threat and bang one little child dead? Or I can stick with the original idea of him slipping, cutting his leg then death via infection.
Alsssoo if Micheal the king does he need a Queen? Cause I can totally see Ryo sucking up to him once she realizes she can't beat him. Can't beat 'em join 'em? Just a thought tho.

So Michael is bad but even he will draw the line at children. He’s not going on a murderous rampage, he just wants control and will kill anyone who stands in the way of that. Which I imagine will be a number of the parent characters and various others who have people they’re intent on protecting. I envisioned a few shocking deaths (Henry among them) which will make the rest of the islanders fall in line when they realise Michael isn't someone to be trifled with.

Provided Diana is up for it, I can see Michael developing something of an obsession with her character Elena. I don't know whether she will try and appease him following on from the stealing accusations or whether she’ll turn on him completely, but I can see him remaining fixated on her. That's not to say he wouldn't be up for casually hooking up with other people though?

Oh no I won’t let you get lost ^-^ anyone who is loyal to Michael will be rewarded, so if Ryo is happy to go off and kill for him or find people that are hiding or steal etc... He’ll definitely give her a fair share of resources and one of the better campsites. He’ll be surrounding himself and creating a group from the more violent, dangerous characters on the island and she’s definitely one of them!

heheh I’m here I’m all for causing chaos and I think it would be so insane if Elena did happen to do a bit of a 180 with all of this and her instincts to like save people and protect them gets prioritized later bc she just wants to save her child and keep him safe but I also wanted her to go on a power rush too so she’ll probably be on par with Michael and helping him out but probably also on the side has people that are loyal to her rather than to Michael bc she’s not murdering their parents or loved ones and it could definitely become a power struggle between them especially if she also low key becomes infatuated with him too

so idk entirely what is set in stone but from what I can tell so far this is the plan -

1) elena’s got her ex William in which they definitelt have mixed feelings bc they obviously recently slept together since she’s pregnant again and they’re back in each other’s lives more bc of theo
2) Michael has been with her since she woke up after the crash and they’re bondinf and probably getting power hungry together and he’s gonna be low key obsessed with her I think
3) Armie’s a snakey guy that could be obsessed with her too

and meanwhile she’s just disturbed by them all and trying to take care of theo and keep him safe

I think in general obviously Elena doesn’t wanna kill anyone at all so she probably did meet some of these people before the island is stormed while she was looking for her son. omgggg it’d be insane if she did find her son with miles and Emmy so that’s why Elena feels indebted to helping them out but also because they’re good people and out of everyone on the island, she feels they are the most trustworthy. so like I feel like before the island is stormed, it’s like a good relationship but it gets slightly strained when Michael does storm the island bc she’s with him still and they don’t understand why she’s with him but they keep working with each other and I feel like Elena provides them with protection
