she is a single mom! so what general idea i had for her and her 8 year old (who llama made) is that elena probably was with this guy for a while, got knocked up unexpectedly, things started falling apart between them and he wasn't in her life for a while until he came back a few years back to get to know his son. and then because he's come back, elena and him have gotten together at some point bc she's preggers again lamo but like i was thinking that she doesn't really trust him just bc of her own life trauma and him leaving but she still loves him too and he's always trying his best to prove to her that he loves their little family

So I think Sam should know of Michael and his reputation, I really like the idea that he might have tried it on at work gathering or a mutual friend’s party once and she shot him down? The suspension idea would work really well! Would give her even more of a reason to be quite tense around him.

I’m cool with that, Camille is very reserved, but she was also in hospital a lot in her teens so maybe he sent her some signed books or something while she was recovering?

Ricki and Timothee could totally form their own kind of scooby do gang to suss out why the plane went down. She’s eventually going to be able to fix her laptop, so I think having a tech-head and a little obsessive investigator searching for the answers will make for a really interesting dynamic

i think the reason for their break up could have always been that she was getting secretive or reserved and wouldn't talk to him and it was putting a strain on their relationship because it felt like they weren't investing in each other anymore and they were just together out of obligation or something because neither of them wanted to break up - in reality, she was probably just really scared about actually caring for him so much so she closed herself off to him and scared him off until he eventually comes back. and ofc their son is probably always trying to set them back up together but it's just strange, murky ground between them where they like wanna get back together or want to stay as far away as possible from each other

it definetly would be rather tragic how the two of them tip toe around each other now too after their rocky relationship and they probably just don't talk about it now at all. and if things ever progress or they sleep together, it's just struck up to them just occasionally having a good time together - actual feelings? of course not or so they try to make themselves believe
OH also i was also thinking of the reason that Elena and her son are on the flight and I said hers was that she was permanently trying to leave Australia and Richard could have always come on the flight to try and stop her but also to follow her wherever she's going and convince her to come back

Full name: Nathan Clarke. Goes by the nickname "Otter" instead, as that is what he likes better. He doesn't like being called Nathan, and won't introduce himself as that.
Age: Physical age is 17, but his mental age is 8 or 9.

Personality: Otter seems very shy and hardly talks. But once you give him time to open up to you, he will be very friendly. If you are kind enough to him, he will treat you like his protector and will stay stuck beside you.

He can get scared easily, and he is a very gentle soul. Otter will never hurt anyone as he hates being hurt himself.

Otter is truly a sweetheart.
History: Otter's past life wasn't good. He was found by the authorities when he was thirteen, living in a cramped dark room. The room was empty, and according to the group who found him, he was living in his own waste and was very sick and skinny. He had been abused; beaten up, bruised, and with many old wounds on his back and legs. The treatment he had received for those thirteen years was nasty, and even after several attempts to help him learn and grow, he still barely would speak at all. During his rehabilitation, Otter would do nothing except stay curled up on the bed in the corner and moan. He hated human touch and had to learn the basics, such as being toilet trained and how to eat and drink like a regular person.
After a year, he was slowly doing better, but still basically wouldn't talk or communicate much more than with actions and whimpers. He became very attached to his rehabilitator, but when she got chronically sick and died, he was heartbroken and retreated back into his fearful self.
A few months later, a new family who had been only visiting that country met him. They had no kids, but loved Otter as soon as they saw him. Otter loved them back, and started calling them mommy and daddy. They explained best the could to him that he was going to go home to them as soon as he could. It cheered Otter up, and he started learning more, spurred on with his excitement.
Then Otter got his ticket, along with someone to help him through the trip, and got on board the plane.

Otter Likes: Animals. He's never been scared of animals, and it seems like the animals like him back. He likes climbing trees and going exploring. He can be curious, unless it's connected with something of his bad past.
Otter Doesn't Like: People yelling/raising their voices, leaving him, the darkness
Occupation: Otter has no occupation, and isn't currently in school yet.
Reason for Flying: He is going to live with his new adoptive family who truly loves him and will help take care of him and help him learn.
Existing Relationships; None...
Important Belongings: Besides his clothes, Otter has a little otter toy.

yes she's still pregnant and my idea was that she had literally taken a pregnancy test a week or so before the flight and she's only like a month or two along so she she'll probably start showing soon bc this is her second baby. but yeah she probably won't drink with him or she might bc she's in shock and anxiousness makes her forget that she shouldn't be drinking
