Indeed it’ll be fun though to rp with the twins! I just love Summer so much wuegnwog5, also yeah Vinny is just a ball of stressed. Someone get the man a mint tea and a nap stat.

I have a couple characters I’m going to be starting that may work;

One is out of her age range dating wise by a long shot, but he’s a sweetheart. Seems like your typical ‘bad boy’ because of the leather and tattoo’s, but he’s actually a pretty chill botanist who was on his way to visit family. If its more friendship or elder sibling thing you want then Grayson might be a good fit.

The other one is more her age, he’s pretty relaxed, very polite normally and quite empathetic. Jem can get a bit anxious sometimes but it’s not often. An elder sibling himself he can understand the protectiveness and I feel they can have fun telling stories about their kid siblings.

Aw all your beans sound awesome! I don't really mind which one, it depends if romance is wanted or just a fluff friendship cause it would be kinda cute having Alyssa a big brother cause she's always been the oldest. Tho it sounds like Jem would pair nicely with her too being both older siblings. If he's that type of bean then maybe he see's her come back with her brother all bloody and stuff, so when she leaves from some air and time alone to cry without her family seeing he could follow? We could even say they kinda knew each other from school. He doesn't sound like the type that would be a bully (unless he went thought a rebellious stage in life) but more of a bystander that knew what was happen but kinda stayed outta it? Maybe he once tried to help and Alyssa was like go away. So he remembers her but Alyssa doesn't really remember him cause she just tries to forget school? I'm going on a large tangent here and don't even know how old this dude is so it's likely none of this is relevant XD

For Jamie (Jem) I think them knowing each other from school would be a good tie in, kinda like a ‘what are the odds’ type thing. What nationality is she and what island is she on? When it comes to him in his school life Jem is pretty studious but is also easy to approach and is the type to step in if a situation becomes violent. For example he’s broken his nose before since he ended up not standing down when some jackass told him to get lost. The kid he was defending was three years below the other boys and he wasn’t having any of that. So if he saw Alyssa in a situation that he deemed unsafe Jem would most definitely stand up for her putting in end to it. Not one to forget a face he’d definitely notice and seek out Alyssa if he noticed her.


For Grayson, if we went older brother route, isn’t one to leave someone in distress alone. He’d definitely be the type of person to take her under his wing and try to maybe teach her skills as a way to give her something else to focus on. Since he’s a botanist Grayson could teach her how to identify plants, which ones were safe, which ones could be harmful, etc. It could be a good distraction while also being useful.

Indeed that might cause a problem, things might be easier to figure out closer to the time said plot points come into action. Ryo is technically part of the delta group but cause she was a criminal (convicted of murder tho it totally wasn't hr fault) she doesn't stick around the often knowing if one of them recognised her things would be all over. So she's in the middle of snatching other outcasts and is slinking off to hide n the forest away from people. Oh but torture scenes are so much fun! XD

Aw the both sound super cute! Personality I'm leaning more towards Jem more. One, cause she already has a loving family and tho Grayson would be absolutely adorable I think Alyssa wouldn't take to kindly his intervening and seeming to become a father/older brother figure. Especially considering one dies and the other is missing. That and them have a history of some sort giving motive for him to help her. Cause being he was willing to defend her Alyssa would actually be nice to him being she's not a full on jerk. Like a smile and a wave as they pass each other in the hall type thing. orrrrr we could have Alyssa instantly shove him away not wanting him to stand up for her and get hurt as well. So she deliberately is quite harsh to him as a kind of defense mechanism to prevent either of them getting hurt being she wouldn't have fully trusted him in school. Then when on the island she is just a mess of emotion where a lot of anger will be taken out on anyone not blood related.

Alrighty! So since I’m joining in on the rp a bit late, the story for Jem is that he ended up getting separated from the group. He spent a few days looking for them before circling back to some rubble he found and going through it. Eventually Jem found his way back to the main group however, which could also be the time he spots and recognizes Alyssa. When it comes to their school relationship it could be a mix of both, like perhaps she was a bit harsh to him at first but eventually they were on decent terms with each other. Though she may not have trusted him fully it was enough to know he was a familiarish face, one that may have made an impact. That way she can still have someone to lash out at, but with Jem being the way I plan him to be he doesn’t fold easily.

He could offer her help or company if she would like it, maybe giving her some places he either slept or hung around. Sort of like when you meet someone’s skittish pet for the first time and you have to let them come to you?

Yup, sounds a plan. So kinda a mutual agreement that they are on good terms but no more then that. But because it's only a decent terms relationship she still lashes out at him cause there's not to much guilt in doing so.

Haha I have never had a character compared to a skittish pet but that actual true. Mostly I think Alyssa will need someone to lean on more then anything. So him not folding easy will be great cause she often puts on a tough girl act around her family so they don't worry so she will need someone to cry on.

Awesome sounds like a plan! I’ll finish him up since I’ve been working on the media and now have to throw together his background and personality.

Can you think of any places that she might have wandered over to that would give her the space she needed? That way we can plan while I finish Jem up.

Okay so I have two boys planned for the mercenary crew, one good and one bad.

Firstly I have Deacon Ruiz. My good boy. He's 30...

⇢ So according to my calculations, these guys have been on island for around eight years. I'm thinking maybe Deacon and your girl joined the mercenary ship at the same time, used to hate each other but kind of bonded when they crashed onto the island?
⇢ Maybe their first leader went off the rails and started killing some of their own group, so Deacon joined up with your girlie to help bring down the original guy. Deacon never wanted to be a leader so naturally fell in the second in command role.
⇢ I'm thinking he might have harboured feelings for her for a long time but she doesn't reciprocate them? He's going to end up falling for one of the captured main islander ladies, and betraying the mercenaries in order to help her escape.
⇢ Maybe your girl can eventually kill him for his betrayal or he can kill her?

And then I have Will Crombie. He's 23 and the youngest of the group.

⇢ Basically lived on the streets and was a pick-pocket before the original leader found him. Been with the crew since he was fourteen, it's pretty much the only life he's ever known.
⇢ Some of the group look out for him but most of them find him annoying, he's a bit of a hot-head, likes to wind up the other mercenaries but is very loyal to the leader. Probably sleeps around with a lot of the group, takes delight in torturing other people.

. Obviously we have Nico x Olivia x Benji, not sure where this is gonna go but I'm enjoying the ride
. I feel like if Nico pisses off enough people she's could get herself exiled from the group, in the event that this happens I totally want her to ally up with Johnny for sure as he's also exiled? His redemptive moment comes when he teams up with everyone else to bring down Michael so we could have Nico get in on that.
. Possible friendship/fuck buddies with my girl Alice. She's a bit of a disaster, dealing with drug withdrawal and is generally a bit of a mess. She needs someone steady to sort her out or she's gonna die basically
. I feel like Isaac could get Nico to chill out a bit and she could get him to come out of his shell a bit, he's going to be dealing with the loss of his girlfriend and basically needs some help finding a purpose, which will eventually be to fix the radio Ricki makes.

. Ricki x Beck are gonna be amazing because they're both nerdy geniuses and beck can help ricki with her radio the first time she makes it
. Beck and Livvy can be friends because they're both smart and privileged and british. But liv is more of a bitch, so beck can sort that out

I don't think there is anything where the East side of the Island is available. Also everyone comes out of the same plane, so it has to be close to where the others washed up.
