I'm listening to the audiobook so it might be difficult to know where I'm at. The chapters aren't like usual chapters but I'm currently listening to chapter 6 - (view spoiler)
Ritika wrote: "75% [spoilers removed]"I agree. The representation in this book is (imo) really nice and well done.
Finished - I ended up really liking it. Contemporary is not my favorite genre but I think this one is a 4 stars read for me :) (view spoiler)
ONE Summer Term [A] Not quite what I expected, but so far I'm liking it. (view spoiler)TWO Summer Tern [B] (view spoiler)
Okay... I thought I had commented more than just once.... I guess not? Whoops! Anyways, I just got to FOUR Christmas Holiday. (view spoiler)
Haha I’ve been reading your updates from 15%- 25% and I have no idea what your talking about, they are so vague :P25% (view spoiler)
It gets better and better.
And yeah, my updates for those % were when I was listening to it, I just paused it at those moments and wrote the updates, so they were referring to events that happened right on those %.

I hated this author's other book so this one is so much better compared to it, thank god. I still don't really like her writing though :/
Also I loved the audiobook (and that accent) but I wish there had been even more podcast because it was such a big deal to the story.
64%I really do want them to be friends again, and maybe there is some point in what Raine says - that if Aled can't see that Frances really was his friend and that she wasn't just a mad fangirl that wanted to become famous than maybe he's not worth it. But I think it's just much more than that for her... Oh and Aled and Daniel are just too awkward, and now Aled doesn't even talk to him...
And the fandom just doesn't get that there are real people that have feelings behind that. They're clearly not doing that to hurt anyone, it just happens a lot with fandoms on the Internet with people that gain some popularity.

Frances has always been a study machine with one goal, elite university. Nothing will stand in her way; not friends, not a guilty secret – not even the person she is on the inside.
But when Frances meets Aled, the shy genius behind her favourite podcast, she discovers a new freedom. He unlocks the door to Real Frances and for the first time she experiences true friendship, unafraid to be herself. Then the podcast goes viral and the fragile trust between them is broken.
Caught between who she was and who she longs to be, Frances’ dreams come crashing down. Suffocating with guilt, she knows that she has to confront her past…
She has to confess why Carys disappeared…
Meanwhile, at uni, Aled is alone, fighting even darker secrets.
It’s only by facing up to your fears that you can overcome them. And it’s only by being your true self that you can find happiness.
Frances is going to need every bit of courage she has.
