Isis, Vampires and Ghosts - Oh My! is not YA/ NA genre.

I've noticed a lot of the less positive feedback IVG-OM! has been getting on Goodreads appears to come from people more interested in the NA/YA genre. Please note, this is an assumption from looking at other books they've read. I might be wrong. :-)

Unfortunately Isis, Vampires and Ghosts - Oh My! was incorrectly listed as NA on Netgalley and I feel this is where the confusion lies.

IVG-OM! is not, and was never intended to be YA or NA book and, due to this, fans of those genre are probably not enjoying it. It has a very different narrative and more complex pace than that of a YA/NA book. Not that YA/NA are 'simple and slow’, far from it. I happen to like those genre too. It's just they are a different genre to Urban Fantasy (what IVG-OM! is) and not always a compatible read for lovers of YA/NA. I understand and I still appreciate these reviewer’s feedback as it helped me find the incorrect listing on Netgalley.

Then again, it could just be some people simply don't like this book. I can live with that too as, if we all liked the same things, this would be a very boring world.

Either way, all constructive feedback is welcome and it all helps smooth out the wrinkles. So, thanks reviewers, I appreciate your time. :-)
