At their first meeting in the bowling alley, it's easy to see that George & Lizzie may have very different approaches to life. How many examples of fundamental differences can you see between these two at this first meeting?

Ana | 9 comments Their bowling balls colliding resembled the odd occurrence of two different worlds colliding. George and Lizzie were shaped by their different backgrounds and until that point we’re headed in different directions. He is methodical and goal-oriented. He came from a nurturing household and he learned to be thoughtful and forgiving. Lizzie grew up neglected yet experimented on. She was barreling down a course of self-destruction until their bowling balls collided.

YES. People this different make you pause at the phrase "opposites attract." Could people this different actually work for one another? I wonder if another sport could have lent itself as easily or as perfectly to this metaphor.

Tennis? Basketball? Football?
