Laruna | 3 comments Hi, I am looking for the book title of a historical romance (regency?). What I remember (possible spoilers): Heroine is pregnant and gives birth to twins, a boy and a girl. The boy is fine but the girl is tiny and the midwife does not think she will survive. Hero cares for baby girl (warms her up) and she survives. Not sure if heroine is near dying after birth as well. Hero and heroine had some falling out and reconcile.
Thank you for any suggestions!

Laruna, can you tell us more about the heroine and hero - how they meet, love/hate at first sight, rich/poor/family background, etc.?

Laruna | 3 comments Hi! Sorry I do not really remember much more. I think it was marriage of convenience. The hero most likely was a lord (earl, duke or similar). There was a lot of tension between hero and heroine and the hero was not really keen on having children (do not remember the reason). I remember that the midwife basically tells the hero that he has his heir and so it does not really matter weather the baby girl lives. Hero gets angry and cares for the girl. When the heroine is awake she realises how much the hero cares and how he saved the girl who is a fighter (I think they actually call her that).

Laruna | 3 comments Thanks, Joyce. I read the book and it is strangely similar to some degree. Maybe I mixed up storylines? Not sure anymore...
