Got an idea for a good quarterly read for the Book Snails in 2018? Let us know by suggesting a book or two here.

You can nominate any book that you've been meaning to get around to. Or suggest one that you think would make a nice slower group read. Quarterly nominations do not have to be "longer" books.

I'll start by suggesting a 600+ pager that many of you Book Snails have nominated or mentioned in previous discussions:

The Name of the Wind, by Patrick Rothfuss

My first suggestion is
“Dorothy Parker Drank Here” by Ellen Meister

My second suggestion is
“The Dark is Rising” by Susan Cooper

And finally Happy New Year,

Karla Jaimes | 6 comments Oops, I just saw that they are meant to be longer reads. So instead of “Dorothy Parker” I would like to suggest

1. “Don Quixote” by Miguel Cervantes
2. Bleak House by Charles Dickens

Kelsey I'll nominate two books; nonfiction and fiction.

The Radium Girls The Dark Story of America's Shining Women by Kate Moore by Kate Moore

The Winter Sea (Slains, #1) by Susanna Kearsley by Susanna Kearsley
