I started my Harry Potter reread in December and I will continue with the books. I am reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix right now.
And I am really looking forward to read Die Stadt der träumenden Bücher by Walter Moers. One of my favourites, now turned into a graphic novel.

Ellen (ellen-jane) | 3 comments For the theme do you have to read Harry Potter books or can you read something that contains similarities? For example I am currently reading Six of Crows which is a fantasy, contains magic and divides magicians into different groups based on certain characteristics or talents.

So for the adaptations im going to try to read Before i Die and Ready Player One. Whos read these?

message 24: by Cassie (new)

Cassie | 23 comments We received the illustrated editions for books 1-3 as a Christmas gift. I've been reading one chapter at a time out loud to my son. We won't finish this week but it's a great reading start to the year!

Amber (bookstacksamber) (bookstacksamber) I was going to skip the readathon this month because I didn't have anything on my immediate TBR that fit the challenges...but I watched the Fallen movie adaptation last night, and it was really awful but still made me want to read the books? The reviews are polarizing for the series so I'm really curious about it. I got the audiobooks from my library, and if I like the first one, I'll plan to read at least a couple of them this week.
Fallen (Fallen, #1) by Lauren Kate Torment (Fallen, #2) by Lauren Kate Passion (Fallen, #3) by Lauren Kate
