I'm trying to have my new self published book linked to my account. After submitting the title as a new book, Goodreads advised I join this group and post a new discussion thread. Please advise how I can link title to my account. Thank you!

Once GR staff verify your claim, your current user profile will be merged with the author profile.

Rose, now that the book is on Goodreads, go to the Book Page and you'll see a link towards the bottom "Is this you? Let us know. "

You use this link to claim your author profile. Staff will combine your reader profile with your author profile.
