Veronique | 962 comments Nice list, Aprilleigh! Hope you enjoy it. I’ve read a few of these and they were all very good.

I have read all of them except Hans Brinker (which happens to be on my challenge list for this year as well). I agree with Veronique that you have good reading ahead of you.

Aprilleigh (aprilleighlauer) | 561 comments I was inspired by the fact that 12 of the books my son and I read together this year fit in my 2017 Bingo. I looked at our list for the next 6 months and tried to fit some of them into these challenges. Those account for three of the above selections (including Hans Brinker).

You have a list of solid reading, I’ve read them all except your 1860’s pick of Hans Brinker, yet it sounds and feels like it’s one from my unremembered past. Maybe it was read to me as a child. I also agree with the Veronique and Sara, you have some really good reading ahead, enjoy.

Aprilleigh (aprilleighlauer) | 561 comments Done, except for the reviews, which I'm horribly behind on. Apparently, I like the reading more than distilling my notes into some kind of review, go figure.

Aprilleigh (aprilleighlauer) | 561 comments I definitely did, even the two rereads (Heidi and Anne of Green Gables).
