This prompt will vary for different participants, but this discussion board may be useful if any members have trouble finding a mystery set in various countries.

Melanie This was hard, I am German, but my family is originally from what is now the Czech Republic. I think I settled on this one, Nasses Grab

Any recommendations for a mystery set in Scotland?

Ok, I really liked Oscar du Muriel's mystery series, The Strings of Murder
Also like Susannah Kearsley's The Winter Sea which is not a traditional mystery, but still mysterious
MC Beaton's Hamish McBeth series is set in Scotland.

And obviously Mary Stewart's Stormy Petrel and Wildfire at Midnight.

A fellow booktuber, Britta Boehler, writes with a writing partner and those mysteries are set in Amsterdam.

Oh, lovely! I own both of those Mary Stewart books and haven't read them yet; I'm especially looking forward to Wildfire at Midnight!
