Hello everyone! It’s hard to believe 2018 is coming soon! I’ve been out of town for the holidays and have not had a chance to post this thread so I apologize. We’ll have a little bit of a late start for the January book. This thread thread will close on December 30th at 11:59pm and the polls will be posted on December 31st. The polls will close on January 2nd and the reading will begin on January 5th.

For 2018 I want to start something a little different. In addition to our normal “voted group read book” we are also going to choose 1 book that this group has already read each quarter (January, April, July, and October). This will give people who were not members at the time to read a book they would have liked to of read and also everyone a chance to revisit some of the longer books you didn’t have time to read when they were the voted choice, or a book you just didn't have the opportunity to read at the time!

The voted choice books will still run on a monthly schedule, and the re-reads will run on a 3 month schedule giving everyone plenty of time to read.

**** PLEASE NOTE: in order for this group to be successful I need discussion leaders. Please head to this thread and let me know what month you can do:

1. Please nominate up to 3 titles for the group read for January. Please make sure you are using Black White and Read’s list (found in the how it works thread) and also make sure NOT to nominate a book that we have already read (found on the “read” bookshelf.

2. Nominate up to 3 titles from books we have already read as a group. These can be found on the “read” shelf on the bookshelf.
