Yes, Rose Hill is suddenly available for touring as of May 2019. For the next 18-24 months it will be the temporary home of Waterbury's Mattatuck Museum and thus open to the public. The portrait of Carrie now graces the front hallway of the house where she grew up! The house itself is a great example of Victorian/Gothic architecture and it's now filled with items from the Mattatuck Museum's permanent collection.
