Mary | 34 comments Welcome to the Goddamn Ice Cube Chasing Fear and Finding Home in the Great White North by Blair Braverman I want to visit Norway - but this book didn't really inspire me in that direction. I liked the parts where she talks about sled dog teams; the rest of it - her anxiety, her struggle to figure out life for herself - relatively dull.

This one has been on my TBR list for awhile - I think there's a sequel coming out soon as well. Time to find a copy and get reading! :)

This book was beautifully written! I highly recommend it!

Annie I haven't been to Canada since I was a wee one and I've been itching to go back. Though I'm still not sure how I feel about the strange plot, Pestilence took place primarily in the wilds there.
